Uchujin (A to Z challenge 2016)

The theme of my A-to-Z April Challenge this year is dolls, as I have a lot of dolls and I'm pretty sure I can go from A-to-Z with them.

Sorry for the delayed post today, I didn't know what to write because none of my dolls' name or group of dolls' name or the doll company I am using starts with a U so I had to cheat a little bit. Uchujin means alien in Japanese like extraterrestrial aliens so I decided to use that to introduce Pullip Mercu and Jupi, my space girls.

Mercu and Jupi are older dolls so a bit more difficult to find as they were made by Jun Planning, the company making pullips before groove. Mercu is the rarest of the two, I'm not sure why. As I always want the complete pair or series. I waited until I found Mercu to buy them so Mercu came home first. she has headphones and a little extraterrestrial with her. 

Jupi came a bit later. She was a lot easier to find. She has a slightly more natural face up which I really like. she comes with a helmet which also makes more sense for space travelling in the vacuum and a strange little octopus. .

As usual, they look good together as well.

Taeyang (A to Z challenge 2016)

The theme of my A-to-Z April Challenge this year is dolls, as I have a lot of dolls and I'm pretty sure I can go from A-to-Z with them. Today for the letter T is for Taeyang, Pullip's boyfriend.

Taeyang is Pullip's second boyfriend. He was created to replace her ex-boyfriend Namu who is apparently a friend of Taeyang. Namu wasn't really popular, I think people didn't find him cute or handsome so they stopped releasing new version of him and introduced Taeyang instead 10 years ago. Taeyang is also the older brother of Dal who was also introduced 10 years ago. Groove promised special released of them this year for the anniversary. People have been a bit impatient about it but I'm personally expecting them to be released in October as they were in their first year. 

I have 16 Taeyang some are counterpart to Pullip releases and some are independent.

Sahra a la mode (A-to-Z challenge 2016)

The theme of my A-to-Z April Challenge this year is dolls, as I have a lot of dolls and I'm pretty sure I can go from A-to-Z with them. Today for the letter S is for the Sahra a la mode series.

In the 1/6 scale, Azone has another category of pureneemo called Sahra a la mode. It's composed of five girls: Sahra, Maya, Yuzuha, Alisa and Lycee, generally coming out in pair of the same girl in different colours and outfit. 

At the moment, Azone is doing a Twinkle Twinkle series with gem dolls, I don't have any of those. 

Before that, there was the Pink Pink a la mode, I only have one of them. And before that, the Sweet Sweet a la mode which I'm trying to complete. I have seven of them out of ten. I also have the two special Happy New Year Alisa. 

I'm always considering getting some new one but I have three missing dolls in my sweet sweet series that I would love to get first.

Ra Muw (A-to-Z challenge 2016)

The theme of my A-to-Z April Challenge this year is dolls, as I have a lot of dolls and I'm pretty sure I can go from A-to-Z with them. Today for the letter R is for the doll that started all this madness!

Ra Muw is the doll who actually got me into dolls, even if she wasn't one of the first I bought. I came across her on the internet and decided to make my own doll because I thought she was too expensive. In the end, I have a lot of dolls now and even some more expensive than her. I really liked her and then Eos and the steampunk series. So I started with trying to make a steampunk doll, then I continues to get dolls and my collection grew and grew. 

So here is Ra Muw and some of my steampunk dolls. All my steampunk dolls have their own videos on my youtube channel.
