Hello and welcome to a new Mystery Monday.
I hope you had a great week-end. Here is a new little part of Murder at the Conference. Murder at the Conference is a stand alone sequel to Harajuku Kiss.
We start right were we left off last week:
I stood up and walked the door. It was locked as usual and it took me some time to get it open. My heart skipped a beat. I held my chest while walking to the toilet. It felt like a heart attack but I knew it wasn't. I needed to be alone, I repeated to myself again and again that everything was going to be all right. Christa was calling for me from the office but I didn't bother with her. The space was closing in, on me. I couldn't breath. I reached to toilet and locked myself in, then I slide on the floor against the door, trying to breathe. I held my head in my hands and stayed there, knowing that I would have to go back to the office and that she would still be talking about things triggering me unless I stood up for myself and told her to shut up. I wasn't sure I could do that. Seiji definitely could. He had opened the door to the Jehovah witnesses once and when they had started to talk about god, he had just closed the door to their faces. They had never come again. When it was me alone, they would drop by and we would discuss the bible for half an hour before I could get rid of them. I couldn't be rude to people even strangers. How would I ever tell to Christa to shut up?
