The
only thing stopping him was that he didn't really want to find out.
Not today, not when everything was messier than ever in the Demon
World and that it was frightening his house, damn Brownie for the day
she had brought a demon at home. He had been against it all along,
there was no way he would have accepted it and then, it changed. He
had heard the saying “only the stupid don't change their mind.”
but that was far from the truth. He felt like he had no choice but to
fix up other people's mess. Brownie had brought the demon, the
demon's soul had been stolen and then she had caught it back. Now he
didn't know what demons were doing gathering souls and it wasn't his
problem, he just wonder what they wanted with that particular one.
Damn, Brownie should have been the one here queuing to learn about
that. She should have been the one going for this day of prayer and
purification, she sure needed it, she smelled witchcraft even in his
dreams. But he was the angel so he was here no matter how unfair it
was. The cold wind hit a little bit stronger and Isakael shivered.
“Once I'm
done fixing their mess, I'll take a well deserve holiday very very
far away where nobody can find me in a hot place, so hot that I
couldn't even bear the freaking high temperature,” he thought
hugging himself a little tighter. He wished he could go back to
sleep. He was progressing toward the church one step at a time and he
knew that this part of the day wasn't going to be the worse.
