Kamaril started to turn
around slowly, if he was to die right here, right now, he wanted to
see his killer in his eyes and it wouldn't be without a fight even if
he needed to punch the other demon with his gloved hands until his
bones broke. But he stopped in the middle, there was something
shining on the other side of the box, something calling him,
something resonating deeply with his water. He took few steps toward
it and the demon didn't move to stop him. Kamaril looked at the
trident of Poseidon fascinated, this was what he had been looking
for, it was his, deeply his, he couldn't be complete without it. He
smirked finding back his words and turned around quickly to face the
long-haired demon without leaving the trident get out of his sight.
“Let's make a deal,”
he said, “I'll help you with something really valuable and you give
me that.”
“Aren't you supposed to
beg for your life?” the other demon asked intrigued.
“We're not there
anymore, without me you can't get the other gods,” Kamaril said,
“I'll bring you the souls you need for your clones, that's how it
works, isn't it?”
