Wednesday Snippet : Demon world 35

Hello and Welcome to a new part of Demon World unedited. Here is the start of Brownie's spell, do not try it at home. ;)

She placed her stone in the middle of the altar, the incense she was going to burn on the East side, East was the side attached to the element of Air, coconut for protection, and the dragon blood she had bought in the afternoon. The place a glass bowl on the West side and poured in sea water, West was the side attached to the element of Water. She had charged the water on a full moon, it was good for attracting things. She placed a box filled with sand, open on the North side, North was the side attached to the element of Earth. The placed an empty ball, the bottle of dragon blood on the side of the altar with the lighter and a small silver spoon she was always using to mix her potions. As well as a white brand new towel, she generally would wash and reuse the towels and switch on and off the candles but today was special, she really needed the full power of Magick, this particular ritual was going to be long and intense. She place her candles on the altar, one white for purification, one black, for protecting, one purple to help for divination. She could have used only one candle but she liked the effect produced by many, she found it easier to work on and to concentrate when the flames where talking to her and taking different shapes. She then placed the circle candles, a green candle at the North, two white candles toward the East, a yellow candle at the East, two white candles toward the South, a red candle at the South, two white candles toward the West, a blue candle at the West, two white candles toward the North and this closed the circle. She liked to give each element its own color, it helped her feel the power more easily. Everything was finally ready, she started at the East as usual to cast her circle. “Guardian on the Watch tower of the East, I invoke thee, by the power of wisdom protect this circle.” She light up the yellow candle and thinking about the element of Air, she light up the two following white candles. “Guardian on the Watch tower of the South, I invoke thee, by the power of passion protect this circle.” She light up the red candle and thinking about the element of Fire, she light up the two following white candles. “Guardian on the Watch tower of the West, I invoke thee, by the power of emotion protect this circle.” She light up the blue candle and thinking about the element of Water, she light up the two following white candles. “Guardian on the Watch tower of the North, I invoke thee, by the power of endurance protect this circle.” She light up the green candle and thinking about the element of Earth, she light up the two following white candles, closing the circle in the East. Of course cardinal point were linked to different powers but she had written her circle casting spell long ago, with was she was more attracted too, what made her feel comfortable. She wasn’t very patient for example, so she was associating the North with endurance, to help herself being stronger and endure to wait in what she had to do.
