I'm
trying to get Rainbow Catcher ready but it's getting harder and harder. I started rewriting a chapter with one more character a few days ago... will it be ready for the end of June, we'll see.
Then Demon and Fairy is also available for free for reviewers through Shut Up & Read. You can have a look at it here if you want.
Now let's go back to our story.
Now let's go back to our story.
Summary of previous episodes:
Clarissa is coughing and wanted to watch Everett Cooper on TV but Jason
refused, she is due to get her rainbow the next day but she seems
scared, to make her feel better Jason leave the TV on. Clarissa tried to
explain about rainbows, she is a big fan of Everett Cooper but Jason is
not too sure about it.
Jason turned the TV off and stood up.
“Time for you to sleep and time for me to go to work.”
“Can’t you stay a little longer?” Clarissa pleaded with puppy's eyes, but these eyes didn’t work on Jason anymore. He knew better what was good for her.
“I’ll be back when I’m done, you know it, as soon as I can,” he said. “If you have a problem use the dialophone.”
“I don’t like this dialophone, your voice sounds all funny in it and I can’t even see half of your face,” Clarissa answered pouting.
Answer to last week comments:
Hum Everett Cooper, good guy or bad guy? I guess we'll see in time.
And where is the rainbow going to come from? who knows?
I'm asking more question than answering them, sorry, I can't tell you everything in the first chapter or it wouldn't be fun. ;)

Waiting for a rainbow must be fairly exhausting, especially if she's sick anyway. I hope it gets there in time to help her.
ReplyDeleteInteresting way to communicate with a dialophone—even if you can only see half of the face of the person you're talking to. Enjoyed the snippet.
ReplyDeleteGood point about not answering all the questions in the first chapter, but.... but we want to know!!!! *pouts*
ReplyDeleteAll along I've liked the way you've shown their relationship though
I truly want a rainbow of my own too! Really a fun story...
ReplyDeleteI love how he used his puppy dog eyes! I know those eyes. How can you resist.
ReplyDeleteNice snippet ... and I know how she feels, it's always nice to have people around instead of "dialophone"
ReplyDeleteYou hint at so much more than you tell, which gets me intrigued. Dialophone? Rainbows? Interesting.
ReplyDeleteBut I have no current openings for an atomic scientist. Sorry!
