Let's continue Seti's adventure.
In the previous episodes: Seti let the chaos got out of him as the father of his sister's fiance threaten to break the engagement. Wild, he flies to the beach to see the only person near whom he can get rid of the Chaos without pain, the fairy Kallisto in the Human world below his. He can only observe her through a tidal pool. But this time, she is in danger. Trying to rescue her from a snake, Seti lands in the world below. However, as Kallisto tries to touch him, he flies away back to his hidden place on the beach and listen to Kallisto's conversation with her best friend Kelpie who once again proposes to her and is refused. Kallisto needs to choose between Kelpie or going back to the fairy world to marry prince Kordelius. As the night comes, Kallisto goes home and so does Seti and of course his parents are all weird... (Remember, Seti used his forbidden power and left without an explanation... ) Then Seti was mysteriously pushed in his room, in the dark and apparently turned blind. For the past few weeks, Seti is trying to control the Chaos who wants to take over his body. We had some flash back to explain the relationship between Seti and the Chaos. Seti managed to open a hole in the wall while keeping the Chaos away, but how long can he stay in control?
Here are my 8 sentences, we start where we left off last week. Seti found the way out, but he was expected. (Of course we start with Seti) Last week he was asked, “Where do you think you are going?”
His dark green eyes had become completely black with the headache. His face was hard. He smirked, looking at the men behind his father. He knew who they were, or at least the Chaos did. He felt its desire to jump on them, and clenched his fists at the window.
“Somewhere, I am sure I won’t hurt anyone?” he said with the Chaos voice giving his father a shiver, and he was gone before they even moved to catch him.
“Seti, you...”
His father started running to the window.
“He won’t be back, the Chaos has taken possession of him, you can consider that your son is dead,” one of the men said.
Answers to last week's comments
"His father wouldn't hurt him" You said, hum, I'm not super sure about that. Does locking him up in a room count as hurting? Does ignoring him all his life count as hurting? One thing is his father is too much of a coward to beat him up, we have already seen that, but who are those guys with him?
Those guys sure are mysterious, but Seti might take care of them soon, or the Chaos will, or maybe it's time for Seti to get some allies, who knows. ;)

Very intense moment. Great snippet!
ReplyDeleteI think it's time Seti gets allies. He works really hard to keep Chaos under control.
ReplyDeleteI still want to know who those guys are. (I was hoping they would provide some answers.)
ReplyDeleteOoh, the Chaos voice - cool detail. I'm not ready to give up on Seti yet though, even if the men with his Dad are. Interesting snippet, worried for Seti.
ReplyDeleteWhat an intense moment for all concerned. I hope Seti is not lost to the Chaos.
ReplyDeleteSounds ominous.
ReplyDeleteIntense!
ReplyDeleteIntense and ominous. I like how the judgement is that he's dead. It really shows the stakes your character is fighting against.
ReplyDeleteAgreed! Intense and ominous! Great excerpt.
ReplyDeleteWonder if his father has regrets now - I also am curious how Seti will fare "out there"
ReplyDeleteHeavy stuff... sounds like things are about to take a turn for the dark.
