Welcome to a new Wednesday Hump Day Hook!
If you want more of it, click here, amazing writers are waiting for you to read their hooks!
But first, here is a little part of Demon World unedited, as I'm now writing book 5 of the series for NaNoWriMo with daily draft upload I thought it might be a good idea to show you tibits of the entire series. Brownie is held prisoner in the Demon World, which is probably the most sucking situation one can get in. And in her cell, she is not alone, but Kion is a bit... weird.
Enjoy!
The
boy was humming again, more loudly than before, more strongly, he
seemed to be really annoyed as if something had been bothering him
all along.
“Are
you ok? Can we talk?” Brownie said louder than she wanted to.
She
was exasperated by the never ending melody.
“I’m
exasperated too,” the boy said before going back to his humming.
“How
do you know what I think?” Brownie said amazed. She didn’t know
if he was an ally or an enemy, but she needed information.
“Neither
of both,” the boy answered.
“So
what are you doing here?” Brownie asked.
She
knew she was never going to get an answer straight from him.
“You
better take care of yourself than take care of me and start by
getting the hell out of my head,” the boy said.
“We’ll
go out of it, together, you and I we’ll both get out of here alive
and…” Brownie started.
“No,
we won’t, you know that and I know that too,” the boy said.
Yes,
she knew it, there was only a very small chance for her to get out of
here and that only chance was for Sahel to arrive before she gave them
the formula. She looked around searching for the boy in the darkness,
unable to find him.
“No,
I don’t know the formula yet,” he said.
“When
you know it, will you give it to them?” she asked.
“Even
if I don’t want to they will take it from me, we both know that,”
the boy said.
“Then
all I have to do is not to remember it,” Brownie said.
The
boy started humming louder than ever and Brownie understood why. His
melody was making interference with her thoughts forcing them to turn
in a loop, he was helping her not to remember.
