Hello everyone!
Welcome to Week-end Writing Warrior and Snippet Sunday. Today Seti is having a flash back about that time when the Chaos had decided to be friend... I didn't happen very often.
Welcome to Week-end Writing Warrior and Snippet Sunday. Today Seti is having a flash back about that time when the Chaos had decided to be friend... I didn't happen very often.
Here are my 8 sentences, the weirdness continues (He is Seti and It is the Chaos). And we start where we left off last week.
He
was nine years old at the time. He was at the park with his family.
They had prepared some sandwiches. They were eating on a blanket not
too far away and he had to stay under a tree, his lunch within a
special basket separated from theirs. He was looking at the other
kids playing with a ball, he wanted to go play with them and run but
he knew that he couldn’t. If he had tried, they would have run
away, and he would have gotten in trouble with his dad. He smiled a
bit thinking that at that time his father was still impressive.
Things had changed a lot on this particular day.
Answer to last week's comments:
Elena, maybe, and maybe not. There is a lot about the Chaos that Seti needs to uncover and the Chaos doesn't want him to.
Karen, I'm very, very sorry, but you'll have to wait until the end of the book, I know that totally sucks. ;)
Yes, you are right, self knowledge is the key, but it's also something hard to achieve.
And a big thanks for all the people who keep on asking for more. I love you guys!

Seti may have special abilities, but he seems to be searching for his place in the world just l like other kids. :)
ReplyDeleteBitter sweet scene, well written.
ReplyDeleteMaybe just me, but this seems a bit stilted. It just doesn't flow.
ReplyDeleteDoes Seti suffer from multiple personality disorder?
Is Chaos one of his personalities?
Great way to set up the scene in this snippet. Looking forward to next weeks!
ReplyDeleteInteresting to have a glimpse into Seti's childhood. Great snippet!
ReplyDeleteFaithfully following Seti's story and wondering if he'll ever accept/overcome the chaos. Fascinating.
ReplyDeleteOh wow, so it seems he was isolated his whole life! No wonder he has no clue how to work with the chaos . Very good Linda, and a great last line.
ReplyDeleteHistory Sleuth - Milk Carton Murders
I feel sorry for him as a child. Nice snippet.
ReplyDeleteSo does that day exlain a lot about Seti?
ReplyDeleteHmm, interesting world for this Demon. Why is he different from other demon children?
