Hello everyone !
Welcome to Week-end Writing Warrior and Snippet Sunday.
Here are my 8 sentences, we start just where we left of.
She stayed few seconds staring at the sky waiting for an answer which didn’t come, before walking away back to the house. Seti looked at her until she disappeared inside and stayed a bit longer. He knew she wasn’t coming back, once she was in for the night, she was never coming back out.
“I’m sorry,” he muttered, “I can’t see you again, this thing in me is too dangerous. I would die if I ever hurt you.”
He lay on the sand his head on this arm and his fingers playing in the water. He didn’t know if he felt happy or sad, it was kind of a strange mixture. I so want this to work for them. Great writing!
ReplyDeletePoor Seti. I feel so bad for him. I do hope he goes back -- or that she finds a way to go to him.
ReplyDeleteSeti is such a sweetie...he just doesn't recognize that about himself. Hope it works for these two!
ReplyDeleteI wish Seti had more trust in himself and in her, but I love that she never gives up. Excellent excerpt!
