Hello everyone !
“I
don’t want to marry Kordelius either; why does my life need to be
that difficult with boys and why does everybody think they have to
choose for me?”
It
was more of a rhetorical question; the type of fairy she was friend
with didn’t really understand much the human part of her heart.
She
took her flute back to play a last song to the fairies. It seems to
Seti to be sadder than usual. She finished with a really long note.
She stood up and some of the fairies pulled on her hair and pushed
her to sit down again. “Stop that! You all know that I need to go
home for dinner, it’s getting really dark,” she said giggling.

That was such a cute scene with her playing to the varies and them tugging on her hair. I could so visualize that.

Very nice details and I liked the scene. My only comment is your last sentence. Maybe it should be "she said with a giggle"? Good snippet overall!
ReplyDeleteI feel sorry for her -- not being able to make her own choices.
ReplyDeleteOh those mischievous fairies! Of course she's sad, no one wants to be told who they are going to marry!
ReplyDeleteI thoroughly enjoy the fairies! Fun snippet!
ReplyDeleteSo is she some kind of a crossbred?
ReplyDeleteGreat imagery, loved the flute!
