“I love your eyes and
your green hair and how you play the flute and that you are a fairy
and you will probably have beautiful wings once you reach the Fairy
World and…” Kelpie paused scratching his head, he was forgetting
something, and he didn’t know what it could be.
Kallisto sighed “You
failed.”
“Wait, I’m not done
yet, you are nice and you make me laugh and…” he continued.
“I didn’t ask for a
list of my qualities, I know them already, I don’t need you to tell
me more, you failed, there is no point to continue,” Kallisto said.
“And how did I fail, what wrong did I say?” Kelpie asked a bit angry, he was so sure to
do well it was unfair to fail him without even telling him what was
wrong and what the correct answer was.
“If you really loved me
you wouldn’t have say anything like that,” she answered.

ReplyDeleteI almost feel sorry for Kelpie. Poor guy can't seem to win!
ReplyDeleteOh, I wonder why Kallisto is angry with Kelpie. What did he say wrong. I loved the tense dialogue exchange between them. Good 8!
ReplyDeletePoor guy just can't get it right with her. the fact he stays around should give her a clue.
ReplyDeleteWhat did she want to hear? I'd be happy with a list that long. haha
ReplyDeleteInteresting response. What does she want from him?
ReplyDeleteShe is pretty tough. I wonder what answer will satisfy her.
ReplyDeleteMaybe just "I love you because you're you?"
ReplyDeletePoor guy! What he came up with sounded pretty good to me. I wonder what she expected him to say and why she's so demanding.
ReplyDeleteKallisto isn't happy, is she? good job.
ReplyDeleteHmmm...what will it take to make her believe?
