Two days ago I made myself a Pikachu. It was on the I-can-do-it-later list for a very long time and I feel like it's time to empty it so more awesome delayed stuff will be coming up.

For my pikachu I just work the pattern in reverse to attach the second tail without stopping the knitting to avoid sewing but that's more difficult to explain as I needed to attache it on the edge as I went.
Eyes (make 2)
With crochet number 10 and sewing thread.
1) in amigurumi ring 6sc.
2) inc. 2 in each around (12)
3) [1sc. inc. 2]x6 (18)
4) [2sc. inc. 2]x6 (24)
5) [3sc. inc. 2]x6 (30)
finish off
Make the little white circle somewhere near the edge.
I used those eyes because I couldn't find nice beats and I can crochet with very thin thread but you can always find beats somewhere if you want.

Hello. First I want to say thank you for the pattern. I will go and look again but I didn't see a finished size when I looked at the pattern. Would you be able to tell me how big it turned out? Thank You in Advance.
ReplyDeleteHi Jasmine, the size will depend on the yarn you use and your crochet size. Mine turned out to be about 25 cm tall (without the ears).
