Let's have a little recap of what happened in the preceding episodes.
In the previous episodes:
Seti was in pain and flying to see
Kallisto
who is the only person who can help him get ride of it. He remembered
how he had met her the first time but unfortunately this time it was
late at night and she was nowhere to be seen. Seti couldn't spend the
night on the Beach and decided to fly home not noticing that another
demon entered her house. We followed Seti and discovered his chaotic
bedroom before meeting his family for breakfast. They were arguing about
Seti's sister's arranged wedding being canceled by the other family and
Samira was crying. Their father said that Seti would just have to
apologize. and we learn what Seti thinks about the situation. Seti met
the twin's father and gave him an unexpected apology demon style which
scared everyone around except Taram who had been spying at the scene
from the stairs with his twin brother Torin. After the confrontation, as
always when he has a headache, Seti flew to the beach and fell asleep
near the tidal pool. When Seti waked, he saw Kallisto facing a snake he
managed to get through the barrier and stop it from attacking her, at
the moment he is about to kill the snake, Kallisto tells him to stop and
had him let the snake on the other side of the barrier. Then Seti had
an unexpected reaction but Kallisto didn't going to let him go that
easily. Kallisto seems to have a very strange combination of people taking care of the security of the house, which scares Seti a little bit while Kallisto seems to consider that he is her best protection.
Here are my 8 sentences. Seti is getting a bit annoyed to see things not going as he expected.
He wondered how she could be so
confident about him, much more confident than he was. She shouldn’t
like him. She shouldn’t think he was good. He was a demon, what if
she started to like demons, demons were dangerous and he was the
worse of them all. Everything here was really wrong. He sighed.
“Sorry, if I’m giving you too
much pressure,” she said.
“I have to go,” he said
looking up the tree.

I think it's interesting that he thinks of himself as so horrible...but so far we've not seen that. He seems pretty sweet : )
ReplyDeleteA disappointed demon. Cool. Great 8
ReplyDeleteI agree with Millie. If I ever meet a demon, let me have one like him. :)
ReplyDeleteOften times, when someone has a low or negative self image, another can come along and start to turn it around.
ReplyDeleteWhen that happens, sparks start to fly!
Nice 8!
I also agree with Millie. He seems okay so far.
ReplyDeleteThe only thing demonic about this guy is his species. Did he change for her?
ReplyDeleteHe has to go... Before he starts believing her?
ReplyDeletePoor Seti. She refuses to see him as a bad guy
ReplyDeleteI'm intrigued with your demon who doesn't act like one. Great 8!
ReplyDeleteI really like how he's concerned she'll like demons...especially in that he considers himself the worst of them all. :)
ReplyDeleteI think she will boost his confidence. He thinks so poorly of himself, ya I know he is a demon, but she sees something in him that he doesn't see. Interesting set up for these two.
ReplyDeleteHistory Sleuth's Milk Carton Murders
Demons are dangerous! Poor Seti has it bad for him though. Enjoyed your 8. :)
ReplyDeleteI think he deserves to be liked, or even loved. Hopefully he'll realize that too. Great 8! :)
ReplyDeleteA demon with flaws - very human. Great 8. :)
ReplyDeleteInterested. For a demon he's very concerned with what she thinks of him. I think he has a very non-demon heart buried in there. Nice snippet!
ReplyDeleteThere is some really good internal conflict here, well done! I'm interested to find out how it all plays out.
