In the park of the Versailles castle, the Petit Trianon includes the hameau de la reine dedicated for the retreat of the queen, built for Marie Antoinette in 1783. It contains a farm house, which explain our wild encounter with a goose, a lake and a temple of love on the island. You might want to try going there in the summer to enjoy the flowers.
