The day following our visit to the Eiffel tower, we went to visit Versailles' castle. Once again it was a first time for me even though I had lived in Paris. We needed to take the train early in the morning from the center of Paris to reach the castle soon enough to be able to visit it before going back to the airport and take our plane back to Japan. Even though the castle and its park is so huge that we could only see part of it. Here I'm presenting some pictures of the outside on the way to the castle.
Wow, the ornate gold-colored gate is beautiful! :-)
