Wednesday Snippet: Demon World 85

Welcome to a new part Demon World unedited. We start right where we left of last time.
The second spell she knew was the one she had performed tonight, it wasn’t really a spell, it was a potion. So yes, there was a formula for it but she doubt that it was the formula the demons were after in her dreams. Because it was something which was taking a long time to produce, because every mistake she had made on the way had made her deeply sick and because it was almost impossible to actually perform it for no human. The ingredients were specifically designed for the human mind. To be able to create this potion, you needed a good understanding of how brain chemistry actually worked, you needed to know exactly what was going on between your synapse to make sure to get the proper reaction in your nervous system. It was the reason why she had been trembling like crazy as soon as she had swallowed the first drop of it, it was the effect of complete relaxation of all muscle at once so that her spirit could escape to higher spheres of consciousness. You needed to know about the hormone balance, the composition wasn’t the same for men and women. She had designed the potion long time ago, when she was still Celia and the time that had passed had made her need a little bit different but she still didn’t feel able to make one for male demons. I was impossible. She was a witch but she wasn’t a really good witch, she was only a witch out of necessity, because at that time it seemed like her only solution, but she didn’t have what they were looking for, she didn’t know what they were looking for and somehow, she didn’t want to know, she didn’t want to be a part in their design, she didn’t want to contribute in creating other people like Kion, somehow prisoner of their own body. The formula wasn’t in her mind anyway, she could relax a little if it had been, she was sure that Kion would have found it.
