Wednesday Snippet 197: Blue Angel

Welcome to a new part of Blue Angel unedited, we start right where we left off last time.

“What was that? Who was talking to me? What did he want from me? What was that power he was talking about? My power, what is my power supposed to be?” The questions were turning in Isakael's head and he was afraid. Nothing, nobody was supposed to be more powerful than God, it was just wrong.
“I believe, I believe,” he said over and over again as if it was going to protect him but the charm seemed broken, he wasn't feeling God in this place any more he was only feeling cold. He wanted to go home or at least run away from here as fast as possible, it was supposed to be the place where everyone found their place but he just felt abandoned in the middle of stranger.
He bore with it until everybody came out of trance and the prayer regained its power over them but not over him. He was scared of the voice he had heard, scared that it might be coming back and that it was speaking the truth. He was looking at others trying to see black wings in someone's back but they were all immaculate white. The whiteness of the place made him nauseous as his stomach growled once more in hunger, and he wondered how he could feel both at the same time.
They finally stood up and started to walk away. The one who had reached the trance were congratulated. It was said that they were the one closed to God, the one who could hear his voice directly. The one who never experienced it were asking questions but Isakael tried to avoid them. He didn't know what he would tell them, he didn't know what to explain or what exactly happened. The others were laughing, telling about the blue light and the stars and more light but none them talked about the sudden darkness. Isakael wonder if it had only happened to him or if he was becoming crazy and had dreamed it.

Lockheart Castle and Gallery Vlog in Gunma

We went to Lockheart Castle in Gunma prefecture for the weekend. It's a Scottish Castle that was moved stone by stone to Japan, traveling through Russia.

The castle itself in pretty cool. The rest is more of a random collection without real concept. At the moment they are having a Christmas display on the top floor. They have random items, from Napoleon to Audrey Hepburn on the ground floor, some British item in a different building, a teddy bear museum that you can't really access, a stone museum and a sort of creepy wedding gallery.

Azone Store Lil'fairy OOAK by Azone Staff Expo (with video)

Last Friday I finally made it to the azone store for the Staff OOAK Lil'fairy expo.
It turns out that they had not only the Lil'fairies there but also some Sahra's a la mode girl, and some Alvastaria.
They were also selling the OOAK Excutes.
Those dolls aren't the same as the artist OOAK dolls. They are doll with recolors hair and/or a change of clothes still in the most recent azone series.

Vampire Friday: Vampire Heart 199

Welcome to a new part of Vampire Heart unedited. Have you been bitten yet?Sign up to be part of our awesome Vampire Friday blog hop team! You know you want to!

Summary of the previous episodes: Viorel has been tortured by his supposed family who wanted to have him burn in the sun. Strangely enough the sun didn't burn him as expected but Viorel has no memory of who he is. Following the advises of his supposed father, he left Sighișoara and is now traveling to the West. After some skirmish in a previous city, he found refuge on a boat. Viorel is now in Vienna. The little problem is that the guy at the inn was a bit of an asshole and helped capture Viorel thinking he was a vampire, which he is but nobody needs to know. Now there is a huge man (which I call the colossi) taking care of Viorel and a priest. They brought a girl. Torture my holy water... Fail. Viorel managed to confuse everyone, now he would like to get out of here. But the girl seems pretty useless. They still managed to escape and he left the girl to the care of the boat lady before going back to have two words with his captors but his power of persuasion were failing him. The priest wanted to crack a deal but Viorel is not really up to help his enemies. He finally got some blood but he can't risk to stay in Vienna. He travel to Linz were he stays a bit to learn German.
Viorel wanted to go to Praha but redirect himself toward Augsburg instead where he wants to get a horse, except that the horses are a bit scared of his vampirism and maybe something else. Viorel is really not a horse expert. Then he comes into an altercation with couple of people, he wants some fear in his blood. The girl Viorel has found seemed to enjoy the game. Viorel prepares for the nightmares that come with a feast of blood, in a rush to leave, he cross the dukedom of Lorrain.
We introduced Sorina, three weeks after the beginning of Viorel's escape.
Viorel dreamed of Sorina and woke up not really remembering anything. Traveling to Paris, he arrives at "La cour des miracles". He is rescued by a stranger who turned out to be Nicolas Flamel, the alchemist he was looking for. Nicolas does some strange experiment without Viorel's agreement. Some people are looking for Nicolas's secrets. On the other side of Europe, Sorina awakes and Viorel's past in haunting him. Viorel discovered that he can change into a wolf but that's not the easiest thing to handle.

Now, let's continue with Vampire Heart, right where we left of last week

She knew I was in a hurry and she was probably convinced that I was going to let her here, safe at home with the cat.
When I entered her house, it seemed even weirder to me that she seemed so used to the carriage. There was no way she could have been. It was a poor house. It was a ground floor house, really small, with one kitchen and two bedroom one not even larger than a closet. The windows were clean and the table had been cleaned as well before going out with fresh water leaving so marks on it. The dishes had been dried and pilled up on a wooden bench between the fire place and the window. The fire place was so small that I couldn’t imagine how they could use it to cook without burning the all house. Even thought there was a box with ashes in the corner. The window was so small that the back of the room was really dark. The girl pulled a key from inside her dress and entered the closet sized bedroom. I knew why she had been locking the door all along she was probably locking herself in when sleeping as well to protect herself from her father.
He isn’t my father, you know the man from last night, my mother married him when we arrived here,” she said. “I don’t like him.”
She seemed to be feeling a bit better.
Can you help me? I need to push the bed, I always hide the cat because it always angers him to see it. He says it’s a waste to give food to animals and wanted to kill it.”
