Nendoroid vs Cu-poche: Comparison

So I wanted to so this for a while. Actually when I started to get interested about Nendoroid and Cu-poche, I always wondered what is the difference exactly. 

I know that's a noob question but hey we all have to start somewhere and curiously I didn't really find anything satisfying answer except that the Cu-poche are taller and can wear fabric clothes sometimes and that Nendoroid have extra body parts. 

So now that I have both some Nendoroids and some Cu-poche, I decided that I was going to take two of them and have a comparison just in case someone is looking for answers somewhere, also because comparing stuff is a lot of fun. 

So here is a little comparison of one of my nendoroid with one of my Cu-poche. Enjoy!

Nendoroid Box Opening and Review: Asuna from SAO (with video)

Today I continue with our Sword Art Online series. I have for you a review of Asuna. 

Goodsmile actually made three different nendoroid of Asuna. This one is the first one which represent her as she is in her guild with the guild uniform in the first season of SAO.

I like Asuna because she is one of the strong female character in the series. She doesn't need anyone to protect her as she is one of the best sword player in the game. She is also very protective of the people she likes and doesn't let anyone tell her what to do.

She comes with her swords and with a screen. I like that screen because it's one important feature in the game, it allows the characters to see and exchange their items.

Wednesday Snippet: Demon World 133

Welcome to a new part of Demon World unedited, we start right where we left off last time.

He seemed diminished even more when he sat back pressing his back on the chair and curving his head down. Brownie could see that he hated his state even more in front of this demon. It was the one with the big horn who had come to take Kion away earlier. It was followed by two others that she had never seen before, all of them with huge horns.

The demons lined up looking at the level of their eyes straight in front of them. They didn’t seem to be willing to move, they were scared and if they were scared Brownie felt that she should have been scared too but for some reason she was just happy to have the master moving away from her.

“I was the one telling you to bring her in, I have the right to see my prisoner”, the master said.

He was the one unafraid, ready to accept his fate no matter what it was. He had been ready since he had risen from the dead. The first demon grabbed one of the other by the throat and pulled him up. The demon struggled a little bit but his efforts were vain. His arms felt back along his lifeless body few second before the demon with long hair let him fall on the floor.

“Clean that up”, he said.

“And take the master out of here”, the demon behind him added.

“She is mine”, the master answered.

The other walked toward Brownie as the master was taken outside repeating that she was his. Brownie was looking at him, she wanted to get out too, she was following the master as he went away.

“So now that we have a little of privacy, we will be able to talk” the demon with long hair said pulling out his glasses, it took some time to Brownie before noticing that he was only wearing frames. Demons didn’t need glasses, if they ever needed some they wouldn’t live long enough to wear them. He didn’t seem to be the most dangerous of them but she could have think that if it wasn’t for the huge horns on his head or for the demon he had just killed for no apparent reasons in front of her eyes.

“We need something from you and we have something that you want, what about making a little exchange”, he said.

It seemed to Brownie that it was the day of bad bargain. She had just heard the exact same thing from the master, everyone seem to have something she needed but after all they didn’t need to give anything to her, once she had answered they could just kill her straight away.

“She doesn’t believe you”, Kion said in his corner.

Nendoroid Box Opening and Review: Kirito from SAO (with video)

Let's start with a little Sword Art Online Nendoroid series. Today, I am opening the box of Kirito. I have had the SAO Nendoroid for a while now but I always delayed opening them because it's easier and faster to open doll boxes. But since I finally ran out of doll boxes to open, it's time to have a look at my nendoroids again.

Goodsmile has made four nendoroid of SAO so far and then at the end of the month they will be releasing Kirito and Asuna's new version at Wonder Festival. unfortunately, I won't be able to attend so I won't be getting them directly. I just hope they'll appear at a decent price online later and not the crazy price tag they are already at at the moment.

This Kiriro is the first boy that I got. I really like SAO so it was sort of a must have for me. I like his character a lot because he is a very nice person and at the same time he dresses all in black and sort of pretend to be a bad guy.

He comes with his trade mark black coat and double sword attached on his back, with some drinks or cream, I can't really remember which and with the famous ragout rabbit. 

I think he is super cute.
