Doll Review: Minami Alice Tea Party

Today, I'm reviewing Minami Alice Tea Party from the Otogi no Kuni series of excute. 

This Alice is particular because she is part of the Otogi no Kuni series with other dolls from fairy tales instead of coming with the usual Alice in Wonderland characters. 

Then she is an azone store limited doll, without preorder, to get her, I had to go to the store to queue on the day of release and she is also a collaboration with Nico just like the second Snow White Princess Aika. I have a video about Snow White Princess Aika here, with a blog post here as well as a video from when I went to pick them up at the azone store. 

Alice Minami comes with amazing mint green hair, it's a very rare color at azone and it's even lighter than the hair of Lipu little maid limited of Maya Nostalhic story limited. She also comes with the skin tone and the eyes of the Minami mermaid Blue Lagoon and Gold Pearl. It's a very light skin tone and purplish blue eyes.

She has an outfit in an Alice style with a peach colored dress and a white apron on top. She is really cute.

I took some pictures of Minami for the review video. I think this back ground would suit the Classical Alice series a lot better. I guess I'll use it again soon when I do the Classical White Rabbit review.

WeWriWar 208: Rainbow catcher

 

Welcome to a new excerpt of Rainbow Catcher for the Weekend Writing Warrior and Snippet Sunday.

Sorry about last week, I totally forgot it was Sunday until Tuesday, so...

Now let's go back to our story.

Summary of previous episodes: Clarissa is coughing and wanted to watch Everett Cooper on TV but Jason refused, she is due to get her rainbow the next day but she seems scared, to make her feel better Jason leave the TV on. Clarissa tried to explain about rainbows, she is a big fan of Everett Cooper but Jason is not too sure about it. Clarissa complained about her dialophone but Jason needs to go to work. Before completely leaving he is thinking about getting her her rainbow. We flashed back to the meeting Jason had with a rainbow seller at the black market. Jason left Clarissa's room to go to work. Jason was talking to his boss about the rainbow coming the next day. Jason prepared the money for the rainbow in a sport bag and went to the hospital. The rainbow seller arrived for the delivery. But it was a scam and Jason prepares to go get the rainbow himself in the desert. Markus has a last surprise for him.

We start just where we left off last time.

“I’m not saying I’m taking it, I’m just giving it a try until Green Sun Valley,” Jason said.

“Of course, but if you don’t take it away, Gena will probably burn it to aches and me with it,” Markus said laughing.

“You can still hide it somewhere before she arrives, except if she has a moon catcher too,” Jason said sitting on the bike.

“Don’t get too confident, you still have to drive it,” Markus said sitting behind him.

And that was not an easy task. It took three attempts before Jason could actually have the bike well enough in hand to reach normal average speed without it stopping by itself. He was scared of the speed already, every time he drove too fast, he braked so hard that the engine didn’t bear the abrupt change and died.

Sometimes Hibarichan likes to spend times with the mini. My mini-me is being rather lazy at the moment, she still hasn't changed outfit from the Beauty and the Beast sewing session.
