Welcome to my crazy world!
I did a lot of writing today. I managed to catch up the words I didn't
write on day 8. I don't know what happened on day 8 really. I was just
in front of my PC and I couldn't write any sentence that make sense.
So today I got almost 5k words which is what I needed to be on time for
my own schedule.
I also made a video for my other channel with the last doll box I had to
open.
Then I made a little centaur custom. I had it forever and I finally
decided it was time to make it. I had quite a bit of problem on the face
but after three tries it's not that bad.
Welcome to a new part of Vampire Heart unedited. Have you been bitten yet?Sign up to be part of our awesome Vampire Friday blog hop team! You know you want to!
Summary of the previous episodes:
Viorel has been tortured by his
supposed family who wanted to have him burn in the sun. Strangely
enough the sun didn't burn him as expected but Viorel has no memory of
who he is. Following the advises of his supposed father, he left
Sighișoara and is now traveling to the West. After some skirmish in a
previous city, he found refuge on a boat. Viorel is now in Vienna. The
little problem is that the guy at the inn was a bit of an asshole
and helped capture Viorel thinking he was a vampire, which he is but
nobody needs to know. Now there is a huge man (which I call the colossi)
taking care of Viorel and a priest. They brought a girl. Torture my
holy water... Fail. Viorel managed to confuse everyone, now he would
like to get out of here. But the girl seems pretty useless. They still
managed to escape and he left the girl to the care of the boat lady
before going back to have two words with his captors but his power of
persuasion were failing him. The priest wanted to crack a
deal but Viorel is not really up to help his enemies. He finally got
some blood but he can't risk to stay in Vienna. He travel to Linz were
he stays a bit to learn German.
Viorel wanted to go to Praha but redirect himself toward Augsburg
instead where he wants to get a horse, except that the horses are a bit
scared of his vampirism and maybe something else. Viorel is really not a
horse expert. Then he comes into an altercation with couple of people,
he wants some fear in his blood. The girl Viorel has found seemed to
enjoy the game. Viorel prepares for the nightmares that come with a
feast of blood, in a rush to leave, he cross the dukedom of Lorrain.
We introduced Sorina, three weeks after the beginning of Viorel's escape.
Viorel dreamed of Sorina and woke up not really remembering anything.
Traveling to Paris, he arrives at "La cour des miracles". He is rescued
by a stranger who turned out to be Nicolas Flamel, the alchemist he was
looking for. Nicolas does some strange experiment without Viorel's
agreement. Some people are looking for Nicolas's secrets.
On the other side of Europe, Sorina awakes and Viorel's past in haunting
him. Viorel discovered that he can change into a wolf but that's not
the easiest thing to handle.
Now, let's continue with Vampire Heart, right where we left of last week.
Nothing separated us. If they had changed Sorina, she was still there, somewhere, waiting for me, she was alright, she would survive this, they would wait for me to come back before doing anything to her now. I felt the smirk forming on my face. My heart was yelling out for Sorina, I wanted to slide this vampire and make it suffer more than anything before killing him for daring to think about hurting Sorina.
“She would be in a pitiful state for you to see when I get you back home and we will do more to her. I will love to take care of her in front of you, you know what they say about the humans changed into vampires?” he said looking at me.
There was nothing left between us and we were turning around each other.
“I know you are burning to tell me”, I said, “Can I have your name first, or is it anonymous club?”
“You don’t know my name, you ungrateful brad, after all the time I spend carrying you around on my shoulders when you were a kid”, he said.
“I somehow lost my memory a little before you tried to kill me, so I’m sorry but your name has slipped out”, I said. “It’s not like it’s so important anyway as you are going to die tonight.”
He had a strange laugh.
“My name is Cosmin”, he said, “I think it’s always nice to know the name of the one killing you.”
He was getting mad too, and I hoped that it would make him careless. He didn’t want to bring me back anymore, he wanted to kill me right here and now. It was better. But I needed to focus on his brutal force. He made a move to withdraw his sword that was the opening I had been waiting for. I plunged on him almost picking my sword in his groin but he blocked me with his covered sword, the cover didn’t resist the impact and he pulled the sword through it. It was the kind of sword I had expected, it fit with his overly huge biceps, it was large but not so long, it seemed to be a bit rusty probably not taken out in the air often enough. The blade seemed to have suffered a lot of unrecovered damages with time. There was a snake going up the blade and opening its mouth like to swallow the handle. It was more of a decorative sword that something I would have liked to fight with but as poor looking as it was, it was still heavy enough and in the hand of this vampire it was surely a deadly weapon.
Today, I'm opening a version special Pullip and Namu duo from 2004.
They are a pullip anniversary set limited at 300 world wide. This set is number 22. I didn't think I would ever find them but I managed to get a rather low number in the series. They are in the theme of the carnival so on top of their luxurious outfits with jewelry and accessories they come with mask made with their mold.
"Yes, I'm going to
learn all of it upfront and then I'll just have to follow the class
with one ear," I said.
"Seriously?"
Amy asked.
"Impossible,"
Alex said. "It's the same as you taking five extra classes, what
has gotten into you?"
He dipped a french fries
in his ketchup on both sides before eating it. I started to thing
that this was a pretty annoying way to eat but I caught myself
thinking that the reason why I thought it was annoying was because I
didn't like Alex all that much. Every time I looked at him I saw
lieutenant Fin with a terrible personality. And the difference was
due to the fact that lieutenant Fin didn't have a twin sister around.
What annoyed me was not the way he dipped his fries in the ketchup,
what annoyed me what the way he talked to Amy. Have you ever noticed
that when you start not liking someone, every little thing they do
which could even have been adorable a couple of day prior, every
little habit they had were also getting on your nerves? Well that was
it and there wasn't much I could do about it. I really needed a black
out to take my mind on something else.
"My future,"
Amy answered.
"Your future,"
Alex said.
"Yeah, like what do
I want to do with my life? What kind of people I want to be? And who
I want to be that person for?"
"So you met a guy
last night taking the new classes you're going to register for?"
Alex asked mater of factly.
"Why do guys always
have to believe that everything a girl does has to do with one of
them?" I said.
"You ask him,"
Amy said, "I'm not a guy, I wouldn't know."
"So you are telling
me that you want to take more classes as in a search for knowledge to
build yourself a better future," Alex said.
"Exactly," Amy
answered.
Alex laughed. I knew he
didn't believe it and that annoyed me. It was a bit like being in
front of my mother the first time I had told her that I wanted to be
a physicist. She had laughed first then in front of my face she had
asked what a physicist did, then she had asked what I needed to do to
become a physicist and then told me to stop the nonsense. That's how
she had come up with the perfect plan of me working at her company. A
safe plan, a forever job, security, not something I needed to study
or work for, the easy way out. Alex was trying to push Amy toward the
easy way out.
"You won't even last
one semester and you know it," he said.
Amy looked down at her
half eaten ham-cheese croissant and cut a tiny piece very slowly.
"What is it for you?
What does if do to you if she try? What will be the result on your
life if she fails or succeed?" I said.
