Welcome to my crazy world!
Today I'm reviewing The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho.
This review is part of a Buddy Read project so Rishika and I were both reading the same book and will have our videos review up at the same time.
I really like this book and this is actually my third read. I think it has a lot of value as a novel so if you want to read it just as a story. But also has a philosophical reflection on life. It gives a lot of insight and core values about a lot of important things. At the same time it's entertaining and funny.
Those where a bit difficult to me because my childhood achievement are
not really something I think about regularly. Also there isn't much I
would count as an achievement. Even know when I achieve something, I
rarely have the feeling that I actually achieved something, for me
everything is just part of a whole, it's just life, just one more thing
done. I don't have that ability to really rejoice in my achievement even
when they are something important like finishing NaNoWriMo or
publishing a novel...
Then there was the all part about friends in part 5 and 6. And I'm kind
of a person who really like to be alone. I don't feel lonely very often.
I kind of need to be alone to do my things too so those two exercises
are going to be skipped.
Then I sort of had a mini artist date last night. I went to Daiso since I
needed a new notebook for my morning pages and I bought some art
supplies and a notebook for my music and some decoration for my
lil'fairy house.
Today, I'm presenting an history of Byul. Byul is Dal's friend and she
has a crush on Isul.
Her first released was in 2008 and they made her until 2014. Since then I
have seen prototypes but we haven't had a Byul release in the recent
years.
There aren't many Byul out there but they have a variety of style.
Welcome to a new part of Demon World unedited, we start right where we left off last time.
Torsti was back down with his brother
packing his bag as fast as he could.
“I don’t know what is this place
but we gotta get out of here as soon as possible”, he said for the
third time.
Odeon was looking at him unimpressed.
“I would like to know what made you
change your mind so drastically. Are you scared of something? What
about you taking care of Yue first?” he said.
Torsti looked at him.
“I’m going to repeat myself one
more time, they bound you when you die and they suck up your dead
energy, now let’s get the hell out of here.” He said.
“But we are not dead yet”, Lonan
answered jumping on one of the bed.
“I thought about it carefully and I
don’t want to wait until we are to see what happen to us”, Torsti
said picking him up and putting him back on the ground.
“What did you saw exactly?” Odeon
asked again.
He was getting tired of this little
game and of people changing their minds all the freaking time. He
wanted to get out but he also wanted to bring down the hunters with
him.
“I don’t know” Torsti answered.
He didn’t want to tell them about the clouds of spirit and about
their parents’ soul probably prisoners of the hunters. If Odeon
knew about that he would want to stay and look for them he had been
the one the more touched by their deaths. He wanted to free them too
but there was no way to do it, they might not even be there and if
they were not he couldn’t imagine Odeon’s reaction but he knew
that it would be even more frightening then a bunch of ghosts going
through his body. He didn’t have time to answer to Odeon’s next
question that noises resonated in the dining room.
“Get out of your room now!” the
strong voice exclaimed.
