Thursday Taster 129: Parallel Slip

 

Hello and welcome to a new Thursday Taster, the day when awesome writers all over the blogosphere come together to give you tasty bits of their last fiction. You can find the list here.

 

We start right where we left off last week.

 

I nodded, it was the same car as in the previous world. As expected the car that hid us the first time was there too. I pulled on Amy's arm to make her squat next to me behind it. It was the car next to which Tamara had parked. Seeing how many of them were there and after us, they probably had other cars too. Amy took a look above the car we were hiding behind.

"I think there is someone in there," she said.

"I would guess so," I answered looking too. Not that I didn't trust her but I preferred to have my information first hand.

I took a deep breath going back. I could rely on the information from the other world and not one hundred percent. I should have known that but that was still bugging me. I wanted it to be all the same I wanted everything to be like it was before but it wasn't, so I needed to get over it. It still bought us some times while we hid in the room even if I had to fight with the door so I guess we were lucky I had that black out, just I was feeling exhausted.

"We need to take the bus, when I say run, run," I said to Amy.

"What bus?"

"The one which is going to come like really soon. If we run, we can make it."

I could see the bus stop from here, at least that didn't change much.

"Is that why you were looking at the bus map all along?" Amy asked.

I notted.

"Let's go, run!"

I stood up and ran as fast as I could trying to listen for the bus but the bus wasn't coming. I ran as fast as my legs could carry me but if the bus wasn't coming the car with whoever was inside would be coming for us. Did we really get out too early, was the bus really not coming? I stopped at the bus stop and checked the time. I had trouble to make sense of the time table. I checked my watch a couple of time.

"There is no bus," Amy said in panick.

"There will be, there has to be a bus it will come," I said.

Wednesday Snippet: Demon World 106

Welcome to a new part of Demon World unedited, we start right where we left off last time.

“You are my savior, I’ll tell you everything, just don’t let him touch me again, it’s too much pain, too much pain”, she said lowering herself even more clenching at his robe.

Sahel’s other self looked away with a taste of disgust in his mouth. Brownie had just sacrificed herself for him.

“Lock him up in his room” the priest said. “I’ll take care of this one first.”

Sahel woke up on the ground of a forest, it was cold and it seemed to be the middle of the night, it was dark and the air was humid and filled with a heavy perfume of pine. He passed his hand in his heavy long hair and removed some of the pine needles entangled in it. As his other self stood up, Sahel closed his eyes, trying to see what had happened to the other Brownie, to his other self but all he could remember was fear and pain, deep in his flesh. He opened his eyes again. He was running as if trying to escape something. He wondered how he could go from sleeping on the forest ground to running like that as if his life was depending on it. He was breathing heavily. Once again he was human, human and weak as if he hadn’t eaten anything for days. He ran straight in front of him, jmping on the roots of the trees turning around their trunks, pushing the branches and twigs. He was in a hurry. As his other self ran, Sahel remembered his memory and his knowledge, all of it. Something terrible had happened, the girls, they were in the glare, they were doing what they always did, they were happy but the ugly man had arrived and he had taken them away. he stopped suddenly in front of a hut, it was a very small house made of stones and wood pieces, it seemed a miracle for it to be standing. The roof was also made of branches and dried leafs and reeds. There was some light going out from the window. Sahel’s other self took a very deep breath and ran toward the house, he pushed the door violently making the roof shake, some of the leafs felt on the floor. An old grandmother was knitting, sitting near the fire on the top of which a heavy black cauldron was boiling a sweet smelling green soup.

“They took the girls”, he said.

Let's make a doll house (Azone Lil'fairy homemade display) (with video)

Today, I finally decided to build my IKEA Greenhouse which I planned to use as a doll house for my lil'fairies.

It was super easy to build and only too minutes. Then I decided to use our old table to put the house and the previous diorama I made for my lil'fairies and to create a display. It was a lot of fun and I'm super happy with the result. It changes the a lot to have a display with the dolls doing cute stuff instead of just having my dolls on the shelves. So far that's the only display I have enough space for maybe in the future I'll find a way to have more.

I also like the fact that I could put all my lil'fairies together since now I have 14 instead of the 4, I planned on having at first.

Happy New Year dolls and Lucky Bags from the Azone store (with video)

Happy new year everyone.

This year again, Azone was doing the lucky bag at their store in the 1st of January. The store opened at 10am for the lucky bag only and then at 11am for the regular shopping.

The lucky bag was just a grab and go thing so I didn't have time to take pictures at all of the dolls in there.

In this video, I'm opening all my lucky bags for you. It turned out that it was one of each kind allowed by person so I got two azone 50cm bags and two pureneemo bags, because my boyfriend was with me. I was very lucky because I didn't get the same items in both bags.

The only thing that I'm a bit disappointed about is that the two Sahra's a la mode doll that I got were dolls that I already have so I'll probably sell them at some point.

I got really nice outfits for my dolls and two excute Lien and Miu which I probably would never have bought it it wasn't for the event.

I also had a lot of nice outfit for Amane, with a few double that I might sell later on too.

I also got the two happy new year 2017 dolls. Neily and Yuzuha. I like that Neily is a little rooster, with one of my doll dressed as sheep, that gives me the start of a lil'fairy zoo. I hope they'll have new animal outfits later.

I also like the buy the New Year dolls in Yukata because Yukata are generally expensive so that's a normal price doll with an expensive outfit.

I dressed Amane in out of the outfit I got for her. She is my most spoiled doll. I have so many azone 50cm clothes now and just the one doll.
