If you are looking for the Indie Block Party, look here

Hello wonderful people and welcome to a new Mich's Summer Mystery post.

Still no winner!!  Last time, Mich arrived at the tree and someone was hiding there.
And today we are going to meet the obscure professor.

After her weird awakening for lunch time, Mich met her mum in the Kitchen and she was very suspicious. Then it was time for shower. Mich was having some kind of problem with the mirror and she appears to be sucked inside it then she met the colorful inhabitants of this new side of the mirror and they were just mouths. She continued to explored the mirror world and met with some flower girls who didn't seem too happy that she had lost something, they pointed her to a group of rhinoceros attended to by a young boy who managed to get Mich to climb on the back of one of them. The rhinoceros knew everything and it took Mich straight to the tree and someone was waiting for her there

Mich’s summer mystery: The obscure professor.

The clicking sound wouldn’t stop. The person in front of me hid himself under some sort of huge white bed sheet. I wouldn’t expected the obscure professor to look like this. I thought he would be more on the obscure side but he looked like some white ghost in terrible costume. But the rhinoceros took me to this tree, I stood where I should be.

“I’m looking for the obscure professor,” I ventured.

“I know, I know,” he invited me to follow him.

Two doors stood behind the tree. They were little, too little for me to go through for sure. I didn’t know which one to choose.

“Don’t go with him,” the voice behind me yelled. It sounded sinister. Like the obscure professor should sound.

The ghostly person by my side seemed disturbed but not for long. We both turned to the other. His costume fit him well. He looks like old university professor for conferences. I took instinctively few steps to get closer to him. He still creeped me out though.

“Get lost!” the ghost yelled, moving on the top of the ground like flying.

“You tried to double cross me but it won’t work, the girl is coming with me,” the new comer spoke in very low tones.

“I need to meet the obscure professor, I lost something, I don’t know where, or who took it, I need it."

 The ghost turned to me.
“I know little girl, I will help you.” His smile frightened me, I could see he lied openly. “Give me your…”

He didn’t finish, the professor jumped between us with his wooden stick pointing to the ghost.

“Mich, think deeply, you know me, just in our world my form is different,” he told me.

The ghost tried to spin to get to me but the professor didn’t let him.

“I’m not sure. I keep on forgetting things.” I felt extremely confused suddenly.

“It’s fine, this world does it to you, but we will soon be out, just get the other side of my stick,” he pushed the ghost further from me.

I didn’t know who to trust, it frightened me but I took the other side of his stick, pressing the wood between my finger, the muscle pounding in my chest once more, oxygen getting in my lungs.

We were out.

Mich’s summer mystery: Rhinoceros ride

If you are looking for the Indie Block Party, look here or scroll down.

Hello wonderful people and welcome to a new Mich's Summer Mystery post.

Still no winner!!  Last time, oh so long ago, Mich couldn't doubt that the rhinoceros she was riding would take her to the right place... hum... really... how did she know that?
And today we are going to ride the famous rhinoceros.

If you didn't join the event yet it's not too late, you can find the rules here, and be the first to know when the next Mich's Summer Mystery post is out by follow one of those pages: Mes crazy experiences and Linda Hamonou's writing corner, on twitter @crazypuce and on the facebook event page.

She continued to explored the mirror world and met with some flower girls who didn't seem too happy that she had lost something, they pointed her to a group of rhinoceros attended to by a young boy who managed to get Mich to climb on the back of one of them.

Mich’s summer mystery: Rhinoceros ride

I rode my rhinoceros the best I could but I couldn’t stop being nervous. The rhinoceros chewed greenery while progressing quickly through the multitude of colorful people. The streets seemed to be moving on the side of me while the rhinoceros stood there idle. Weird feelings on my skin moved with the street. The cold wind seemed to be entering my body right through my clothes to get to my soul. The rhinoceros didn’t seem disturbed by it. It never stopped chewing. It swung my body from left to right, I clung the best I could, fingers tightly pressing on the rhinoceros’ huge body moving between my legs. Its skin took new colors close to my fingers. But the rhinoceros couldn’t be bothered.

I tried to look where we were going. In front of me, I couldn’t distinguish the street, only emptiness, the rhinoceros seemed to be rediscovering the world with every bite it took on the greenery. The streets on the left side become lighter, more luminous while the right side seemed to drown in the emptiness. I thought the rhinoceros might be turning to the right but I couldn’t be sure. It move too quickly, I felt dizzy once more, worried the emptiness would come to me.
But the boy told me right, the rhinoceros knew where I needed to go. The rhinoceros knew everything. It suddenly stopped. I slide to the front, pressing even more on it, trying not to enter the emptiness in front of us. The rhinoceros stopped chewing. The tree stood in front of me. I never thought trees could look like this. It couldn’t be willows. Now, I suddenly understood how people knew the difference. Purple trunk, purple tree, this tree, my tree, without doubt, monochrome.

I put my left leg on the other side of the rhinoceros, slide on its huge body. I didn’t feel frightened, it felt like home. The uniformity of the tree didn’t fit this world, the exit stood in front of me. I could go out of the mirror.

“Click, click, click,” the noise held my entire focus.

“Click, click, click,” I noticed there weren’t other sounds, I stood in silence.

Only this weird “click, click, click,” three then nothing, then three click then nothing. I move to the front of my rhinoceros my fingers never stopped holding onto it, like securing my return. Return to where? I couldn’t know. It just felt good to be with the rhinoceros.

“Click, click, click,” the sound on the other side of the tree.

The rhinoceros turned on itself. I knew it would go now, my tree stood in front of me. I sight with some regrets. I wished to keep it with me, even wish to bring it home but my room seemed too tiny for it.

I didn’t notice how but suddenly I couldn’t see it. The tree only stood there idle in the wind.

“Click, Click, click,” something obscure hid behind the tree.

I move closer.

“Click, click, click,” he smiled. “I looked for you everywhere Mich.”

Hump Day Hook 3: Special Summer Event

Welcome to a Hump Day Hook Special Summer. This week I will give you a hook from my latest released,  Demon and Fairy.

Whatever,” he said before giving her a savage kiss and pressing her against him.
He held her hands in her back to make sure she was not going to get his wings again.
“Azazel wait...” she started.
“Now, it’s my turn to make you feel good,” Azazel said starting to fly up carrying her with him.
He was kissing her all over her face and neck making her giggles.
“Stop it you don’t even look where we are going,” she said.
“It’s the way you wanted it, let me have control now,” he said freeing her hands and flying higher faster.
She clung at him looking at the dark grey clouds above them.
“Don’t tell me you want to go in there,” she said starting to move her wings to get down, but he was stronger than her.
“Oh yes!He answered still flying all speed toward the clouds. They could hear the thunder inside them as they approached.
“It’s crazy we will get struck by lightning, get down! She said as they entered the cloud. It wasn’t really thick, just little particles of ices flying together around them. Azazel suddenly stopped and held her tighter.
“You’re cold at least,” he said.
“Is that all you are thinking about,” she said angrily.
But he kissed her forbidding her to talk. The thunder started to resonate all around them making their jaws tremble. Azazel looked at her.
“Pretty cool, eh!” he said.

Are you looking forward to the summer? Here is a little summer story for you.

The sun was already high in the sky, shining on the blue sea water and a turtle green and blue was laying on the beach, between the sharp rocks covered with seashell. It had been laying there for a long time, warming itself. It had dug a large hole in the ground and it was time to lay its eggs inside. The sea was far away but the turtle was not worried, it knew that when the time come, her children will battle against the crabs and the birds to make it to the sea. It wasn't the strongest who won, it wasn't the fastest but it was the wisest. And they would meet again in the deep sea and she would tell they the history of the world, the one her mother and grand-mother had passed since the end of time, and they will carry the history of the world and it's changes to the future generation. The white eggs felt out of her body with traces of blood. She knew how to do it well, in two hundreds years, she had done it many time and the one before her had done it too. The turned around to look at them, her movement slow and caring. They were all so beautiful, she covered them with sand to protect them from the sun and from the predators.

Some day I will go to turtle watch and nest excavation.

Mich’s summer mystery: the rhinoceros

Hello wonderful people and welcome to a new Mich's Summer Mystery post.

Still no winner!!  Last time finished with a question. Would the rhinoceros bring me to the tree even if I didn’t know where it is?...
And today we are going to meet those famous rhinoceroses.

Mich was having some kind of problem with the mirror and she appears to be sucked inside it then she met the colorful inhabitant of this new side of the mirror and there were just mouths. She continued to explored the mirror world and met with some flower girls who didn't seem too happy that she had lost something, they pointed her to a group of rhinoceros.

Mich’s summer mystery: the rhinoceros

They were slowly following the bright light in front of them. Their horns were linked together by some sort of green rope, onions fell down in front of their mouths. The rhinoceros tried to bite them but kept on missing. I never knew rhinoceros liked onions but they couldn’t put their tongues on them so they might not like them in the end, onions were definitely gross, smelly, I never missed crying cutting them. Of course my mum thought they were delicious, she would even put some in the French dressing.

“Who will ride my rhinoceros? Who need to ride my rhinoceros?” One of the boys legs seemed to be too short. He helped himself with the step on the side of the street to progress close to the line of the rhinoceros while keeping his body unbent.

“I need to ride.” I felt shy, I never rode rhinoceros before, I wouldn’t lent one to myself if I knew me. The boys turned to look in my direction. Just like the others, colors covered him from top to bottom. I felt dizzy. My eyes weren’t use to so much colors twinkling on people.

“Where is it for?” the boy moved the long, thin, wood rod he held in his right fist, to point one rhinoceros then the other. I didn’t notice the sign on the rhinoceros’ chest.

The letters seemed complex, very little. I couldn’t distinguish the words so I took some steps closer but the boy stopped me with his rod.
“I don’t need you to be hit by my rhinoceros’ horn, it’s trouble, too much trouble,” he pulled me to the side of the street. I obediently followed him.

“Where is it for?” he continued slowly, putting his shorter leg on the step.

“I need to find the tree, the obscure professor, something I lost…” I counted on my finger trying not to forget but the boy interrupted me.
“Tree, tree, I see, I see,” he moved the rope to the right, to the left, spun, spun, spun three time, hit his rod on the ground.

I looked bemused but the rhinoceros moved some on the right, some on the left following his movement. In the end, there were only two left in the middle. I wonder how the rope tying their horn together didn’t mix or knotted.

“The one on the right is slow, gentle but she runs when needed. The one on the left is quick, bites but stop when needed.” The boy pointed the rod to their horn, the one on the right didn’t move but the one on the left tried to bite it. I needed to stop when I met the tree but meeting the rhinoceros’ teeth didn’t tempt me.

“I’ll ride this one,” I pointed my finger to the rhinoceros on the right.

“I see, I see,” the boy closed his left fist on the rope, pulled it up; it left the horn so smoothly I wondered why the rhinoceros didn’t remove it themselves. The boy held the rhinoceros’ horn. The rhinoceros stopped in front of me. I felt excited even if the rhinoceros didn’t look quite like the one in my world. The boy helped me climb on.

“How do I give you money?”

“The tree knows,” the boy hit the rhinoceros’ butt. I tried to cling to its roughened skin, I didn’t feel too good up here but the rhinoceros knew where I needed to go. I couldn’t doubt it.

Mich’s summer mystery: the flower girls

Hello wonderful people and welcome to a new Mich's Summer Mystery post.

Still no winner!!  Last time finished with a question. Who is the obscure professor looking for me?...
And today we are not going to answer it because Mich's world became a bit noisy as she walks toward the end of the street, but what are those strange noises?

If you didn't join the event yet it's not too late, you can find the rules here, and be the first to know when the next Mich's Summer Mystery post is out by follow one of those pages: Mes crazy experiences and Linda Hamonou's writing corner, on twitter @crazypuce and on the facebook event page.

Mich was having some kind of problem with the mirror and she appears to be sucked inside it then she met the colorful inhabitant of this new side of the mirror and there were just mouths. Today she is meeting some more.

Mich’s summer mystery: the flower girls

The street got more obscure so I progressed slowly, there were weird noises coming from the end of it but I couldn’t see further. The colorful people were moving slowly, it seemed I entered some sort of old movie were people were mimes. The noise kept on being louder. I seemed to be the only one disturbed by it. Something hit the ground multiple times, it trembled.

“Excuse me, I’m lost here,” I tried to stop someone buy he just continue to progress in the street in his slow motion.

“Excuse me,” I tried once more with two girls who were holding huge bouquet of flowers.

One of them hid behind her flowers, turned in the opposite direction to try selling the flower to someone else. The other one smiled to me brightly offering me some flowers. The flowers were pretty but I didn't need them, I felt rushed, I don’t like vendors pushing things to the costumer.

“I don’t need flower, I need to find my tree, the obscure professor is looking for me.”

“The obscure professor only looks for Mich, he wouldn’t be looking for you,” the girl told me looking through her flowers to judge me.

“Mich, it’s me, Mich,” I smiled knowing she would be more willing to help me if I bought some flowers but my pockets were empty, I didn’t bring my money with me when showering.

“Mich,” she pushed the flower on the side. She seemed wondering if I told her the truth or not.

“You don’t look like Mich.” She pointed her finger to the other side of the street.

On the white directory stood some picture of someone very colorful, the Mich they were looking for, it didn’t look like me.

“She is Mich,” the other girl moved closer to the first one, whispered something to her.

“You lost something, you should be held responsible for the mess in here,” the second girl seemed willing to throw me stones, while I still wondered where it could be.

“I need it, I need to find it,” I protested.

“Then why didn’t you get one the rhinoceros yet,” the girl moved her finger under my nose.

“I don’t know how to ride rhinoceros, I don’t know where to find one,” I felt pitiful. I liked rhinoceros to much but still it seemed impossible for me to know how it worked in this world.

“Follow the noise,” the girl pointed to the end of the street.

“The noises,” I didn’t feel too sure, it sounded more like…. Like… I didn’t even know…

“The rhinoceros will be going soon, you’d better hurry.”

I continued my progression to the noise, they were too busy to help me more. I felt slightly feverish.

Could those noises be from rhinoceros? Why is the street so suddenly cloudy? Could I ride on them? Would the rhinoceros bring me to the tree even if I didn’t know where it is?

Mich’s summer mystery: the colorful people

Hello everyone and welcome to a new Mich's Summer Mystery post.

Someone almost solved the mystery, this is getting interesting. Last time finished with a question. Could I find my thing in there?...
Today's post is also inspire by the location suggestion of Chieftain Wang which can be found on the event page it was a really creative suggestion.

If you didn't join the event yet it's not too late, you can find the rules here, and be the first to know when the next Mich's Summer Mystery post is out by follow one of those pages: Mes crazy experiences and Linda Hamonou's writing corner, on twitter @crazypuce and on the facebook event page.

After her weird awakening for lunch time, Mich met her mum in the Kitchen and she was very suspicious. Then it was time for shower. Mich was having some kind of problem with the mirror and she appears to be sucked inside it. Today she is meeting with the inhabitant of this side of the mirror.

Mich’s summer mystery: the colorful people

I spun, spun, spun every time I met willows or trees or things which seems to be willing to move.

Spinning I went down the first street, the people there were colorful, just like the boy on the top of his willow trees. They were ridding colorful rhinoceros it seems to me the brotherhood of weird thing in life designed this world just on purpose to suit me, I would love to ride rhinoceros. I just didn’t know how to. I stood on the side of the street looking how other people did it. I didn’t know where to get one, but I felt pretty excited.

The only thing getting on my nerves were the colors, everybody’s skin seemed to be covered with spot of colors distributed with confusing nonsense. I couldn’t distinguish the eyes, the nose, or the mouth of the person I observed without blinking. They were green, yellow, red, blue, purple, the mix of color didn’t suit people or rhinoceros so much, it tired me to look. The pointillists would do much better.

I wondered how I looked like, did my body turn so exotic too? My finger seemed fine. I fled from the weird coloring of my trousers too, but some spots still continued to glue to it.

I decided to continue to progress through the street. I didn’t come here to ride rhinoceros even though it sounded extremely fun to me, I needed to find something. The sooner I would find it the more time would be left to occupy myself with the rhinoceros or meeting new friends. I stopped in front of the first huge building filled up with people. I needed to be polite; once more I didn’t know how to greet people. I closed in to knock on the door but two huge mouths opened on it before I could even touch it. The first one spoke in these terms.

“Who is here?” Of course the mouths were blind.

“I’m Mich.”

“Who is Mich?” The second questioned, it seemed to be sleeping but I wondered how mouths could sleep.

“It’s most unpropitious to be Mich,” the first mouth whispered.

“Why is it?” I couldn’t possibly stop being me.

“She lost something, now the world is upside down. The obscure professor is looking for her.” The first mouth whispered.

The second mouth grinned.

“It’s most unpropitious to be Mich, surely.”

“Where should I go to find the lost thing?” I continued, for the first time, someone knew something.

“You need to find the tree, the one you met in your childhood.” The first mouth told me.

“It will surely bring you there,” the second continued.

“Bring me where?”

“To the professor of course, is she stupid?” the second mouth responded.

“Where is the tree? I met lots of willows since I entered this side of the mirror.”

“Willows, not trees, willows, you need to meet the tree, it’s very different,” the first mouth whispered once more, it seemed to be thinking me stupid too.

“Where is the tree?” I questioned.

“You seem so quick-tempered, who is it?” the second mouth yelled.

I decided to continue on my journey without giving them more of my time. I needed to find the tree from my childhood. But which one? Where could this tree be inside the mirror which I visited for the first time? Who is the obscure professor looking for me?

Mich’s summer mystery: In the mirror

Hello everyone and welcome to a new Mich's Summer Mystery post.

Nobody solved the mystery yet, any kind of feedback would really be appreciated to make sure that I'm not confusing you as the story gets crazier and crazier. Last time finished with a question. But where did the mirror sent me?...
Today's post is inspire by the location suggestion of Chieftain Wang which can be found on the event page.

Mich was having some kind of problem with the mirror and today she appears to be inside it.

Mich’s summer mystery: In the mirror.

I looked right, I looked left vermillon-grey color everywhere, nothing but streets, crossing, very little trees, no houses, nobody. This mirror world intrigued me. I looked through the other side of the mirror to the green room. I didn’t feel like giving up, going there once more to my life. I counted the streets, there were six of them. I couldn’t possibly get lost here. If you don’t know where you’re going I don’t need to bother too long on which street you go by. I found something like this in some book, it seemed good to me seeing my position right now. I took the street in the middle. From the middle you could go to every side. It seemed the best choice. The more I progressed on the street, the more the world seemed to become different. First there were those tiny little pieces of color coming up on the trees, then on the ground, then they covered everything. I felt like someone coloring the world without knowing how to. The guy, possibly member of the brotherhood of weird things in life held color pencil between his toes.

I stopped suddenly in front of trees growing light-speed in front of me in the middle of the street. I trying to circumvent it but it moved to the left when I moved to the right. I stopped once more but it moved to the right when I move to the left.

“Go to the left I’ll go to the left too,” I didn’t know if trees could comprehend my speech, I might need more in this world.

It kept on going in the wrong direction. I stopped moving, tried to surprise it but it didn’t work. Stuck in front of multicolored wooden pieces glued together to form some kind of super weird tree. How could life get better?

“Something went missing, I’m looking for it,” I tried once more.

“Missing, missing, missing, misssssing, missssiiiiiing,” the tree echoed.

Weird, weird tree.

“Mr tree, I…”

The tree bent in front of me, I bowed too. You need to be polite in foreign world like this when you don’t know the customs. Someone jumped from the tree just in front of me. I went so surprised I felt on the ground. The weird colored spots stuck my trousers so I stood up hurrying.

“Not tree, not tree,” the boy spun on himself.

I could only see his spot colored body. He looked like some sort of clown with very weird outfit. The colors in this world were completely upside down. There were some questions which needed some times to be spent on. The boy stopped spinning, I felt relieved colorful for sure but not completely nuts.

“You need to spin to move on,” he begun. “the willow don’t know how to move if you spin, they don’t copy the spin.”

“So the trees copy us?” I felt bemused.

“Not tree, not tree, willows, tree is not like this, you didn’t met willows or trees before?”

“I met plenty” I didn’t like people thinking I didn’t know something.

The boy didn’t seem to believe me, he climbed in the willow helping himself with blue spot of color only. I felt disturbed by his colorful skin mixing with the color of the willow. I needed to focus deeply to see his eyes. I touch myself wondering if I looked colorful too. I would possibly never see myself in mirrors from now on. I sighed.

“Spin, spin, spin,” the boy told me from his sit in the willow.

I spun, spun, spun. The willow moved to the left, the willow moved to the right. On the other side I could see huge building, colorful people moving on weird colored rhinoceros. Could I find my thing in there?
