Sample doll Opening and Review: Taeyang Sebastien (Kuroshitsuji) with video (stop motion)

Let's start this new series of sample doll opening an review of Taeyang dolls with The black buttler Sebastien Michaelis. This Sebastien is the third Sebastien created by Groove for the animation Kuroshitsuji. The previous Taeyangs were the original Black buttle Sebastien and the private tutor version. This last version of Sebastien is part of the Book of Circus which is the third season of the anime.

Taeyang Sebastien is a very handsome Taeyang, he has all the characteristic of the butler for the phamtomhive household. He is a demon who has made a contract with Ciel and so he wears the mark of the contract on his hand as the same tattoo seen in Ciel's eyes. This tattoo is hidden by white gloves. The mitten of the dolls have been sewn to mimic fingers which is a really nice touch. He also comes with stickers that are supposed to be stuck on this face but I personally don't want to do that.

He is wearing a traditional butler outfit and a top hat.

Sébastien Michaëlis was a French inquisitor and prior of the Dominican order who lived during the late 16th and early 17th centuries. His Histoire admirable de la possession et conversion d'une penitente (1612), includes a classification of demons which has passed into general use in esoteric literature.

I finally finished all my emotions from Inside Out. Fear, Sadness, Anger, Disgust and Joy. I took some pictures of them afterwards and I thought that this one was the best. Fear looks so... frightened.

Pieces of my heart

I know I haven't been posting much lately, I could give reasons but the true sad fact is, I have been procrastinating on writing my daily blog post.
However I haven't been procrastinating on this other project. Normally I would give the explanation and then let you discover the video but this time I think you should enjoy it first.



This is my very first animation movie. It is called "Pieces of my heart" because I wanted to make a puzzle for someone to built up and this is the first part of it. I'm not sure about the complete story, I'm not sure how many pieces there will be, I don't know the ending. I just hope people smile when watching it.

It didn't turn out completely as expected but I'm still pretty happy with it. It took me a month from conception of the story board to final touch.

I did all the drawing on ms paint, creating the backgrounds from a picture, and the characters and putting the pieces together was done with photoshop. The video editing was done with windows movie maker.
I'm also the one playing the piano terribly during the movie.
The introduction and conclusion music is from The "Letter song" by Hatsune Miku.

Creating the characters involved a study of movement and I know I still have some work to do about it to make it more natural. I also spotted some other mistakes that I will be taking care of in the next animation more carefully.
