Demon and Fairy WeWriWar 35

Hello everyone !
Welcome to Week-end Writing Warrior and Snippet Sunday.
My new 365 photography challenge is doing well, I even managed to get up early in the morning to take picture, if you want to have a look see here.
Anyway, let's continue with our story.

In the previous episodes: Seti was in pain and flying to see Kallisto who is the only person who can help him get rid of it. He remembered how he had met her the first time but unfortunately this time it was late at night and she was nowhere to be seen. Seti couldn't spend the night on the Beach and decided to fly home not noticing that another demon entered her house. We followed Seti and discovered his chaotic bedroom before meeting his family for breakfast. They were arguing about Seti's sister's arranged wedding being canceled by the other family and Samira was crying. Their father said that Seti would just have to apologize. and we learn what Seti thinks about the situation. Seti met the twin's father and gave him an unexpected apology demon style which scared everyone around except Taram who had been spying at the scene from the stairs with his twin brother Torin. After the confrontation, as always when he has a headache, Seti flew to the beach and fell asleep near the tidal pool. When Seti waked, he saw Kallisto facing a snake he managed to get through the barrier and stop it from attacking her, at the moment he is about to kill the snake, Kallisto tells him to stop and had him let the snake on the other side of the barrier. Then Seti had an unexpected reaction but Kallisto didn't going to let him go that easily. Kallisto seems to have a very strange combination of people taking care of the security of the house, which scares Seti a little bit while Kallisto seems to consider that he is her best protection. He decided to fly away then notice the arrival of Kelpie. Kelpie had just ask Kallisto if he has already told her about Kordelius' ugliness. Seti is still around listening to their conversation. Kelpie is going straight to the point.

Here are my 8 sentences, we start just where we left of.

Kallisto wasn’t too sure about the rules in the Fairy World either and about how she could refuse to marry Kordelius and to go back or if she would really have to leave the Human World forever. But she was suspecting that some of those rules were again parts of Kelpie’s plan.
“So I’m telling you, the best thing for you…” Kelpie continued.
“… is to marry you,” Kallisto finished. She had heard it before, at least ten thousand times.
“Yes, exactly,” Kelpie said very proud of himself. “You always say I’m your best friend. I am much suitable for you than a complete stranger, uneducated, and rude and ugly and….”

  1. For as annoying as Kelpie is, I'm beginning to feel sorry for him...

  2. Aww, you can't deny the guy is persistent. He also makes some great arguments why she should marry him. Well done! :)

  3. Sounds like he's making up the rules as he goes along. Beware!

  4. Persistent and controlling,I hope she finds an excuse to ignore him.

  5. I adore Kelpie . . . but I'm not sure he's husband material! :D

  6. Well, I give Kelpie credit for trying his best here. But I'm a Seti Fan all the way! Great snippet.

  7. I'm starting to think that Kelpie is the right one for her! Chancy, though. They could lose a great friendship if it doesn't work. :-) Good 8, Linda!

  8. He, of course, has only her best interests in mind. :P

She needs to find out these rules for herself, from a reliable source!

  9. Hmm... Interesting snippet. Kelpie has some great points, but are they stated for his own personal agenda?

  10. Wow, he sounds a little like it is all about him, which makes me wary of his motivation.
    Great 8.

  11. He's forming a picture that works in his favor, but what will she decide???

  12. I'm starting to wonder just what Kallisto is.

  13. Kelpie sounds a bit desperate. :) Quite a dilemma!

  14. Pretty good arguments! At least he keeps trying.

  15. Agreed, PT - here's hoping Kelpie gets a gentle answer, whatever Kallisto decides!

  16. Kelpie has good intentions it seems, but I don't think she feels the same way about him as he feels for her...

  17. It sure sounds like Kelpie is making up the rules as he goes along, her suspicions may be right.
