China: Beijing, the forbidden city

The following day I met with my friend and we went to the forbidden city. The forbidden city contains a lot of building for the former Chinese Emperor's government, accommodation, family and leisure. There are several thrones and a large beautiful stone garden. I was actually surprised by the stone garden, I was thinking that the garden would be filled with flowers instead of stones.
The forbidden city also has a lot of gallery presenting jewels, chinas, weapons and a lot of art pieces. There are a lot of things made of jade as well.
There are actually two parts of the forbidden city. We went first straight up to the exit then turned right and went back to the entrance of the second part. That part is a lot less visited than the rest and it was more agreeable to visit. That part holds many galleries and a theater.
