天空の城ラピュタ (Laputa : Castle in the sky)

En français
天空の城ラピュタ is an anime from Hayao Miyazaki (1986).
The name "Laputa" was inspired by Johnathan Swift's novel Gulliver's Travels.

Sheeta has a very strange necklace. It is made with a stone called ikoseki and it allows her to fly.
As she tries to escape an airship from the military directed by colonel Musa, she falls in the mine where Pazu, a young boy is working.
They become friends and decide to go together looking for "Laputa" the flying Island.
On their way they are pursue by colonel Musa and a group of pirates leaded by Dora.

As all Miyazaki's animes, the music and drawing are beautiful.
