엽기적인 그녀 ( My Sassy Girl )
is a very funny romantic Korean movie by 郭在容 (곽재용,Kwak Jae-Yong)(2001), based on the true story. Love letters were post on internet by Kim Ho-sik and then adapted into a novel, that can be find here in Korean. The first part is available in English here and Chinese version in available here.
As he is waiting for the subway, Gyeon-woo, played by 車太鉉 (차태현, Cha Tae-hyun) save a drunk girl, played by 전지현 (Jun Ji-hyun, 시월애 ( Il Mare )
, 데이지 ( Daisy )
), from falling on the rails. Then the strange Girl become to follow him and behave as if he is her boyfriend.
I really like the movie because it's so funny. The Girl is really behaving very strangely, contrarily to other movie she is the strong on in the couple and Gyeon-woo is weaker.I really enjoy the parts when we show the stories she is writing, it gives an other dimension to the movie.
I also really like the music, especially the main song "I believe" from 신승훈 (Shin Seung Hun) and the piano version of the Pachelbel's Canon initially written by Johan Pachelbel around 1680 for violins and bass.
