Thursday Fiction 429: Parallel Slip 2: Rebel

Welcome back to a new Thursday Fiction, it's been a while. We continue with Parallel Slip 2: Rebel where we left of last time, following Isabelle as she figure out who she really is.

“He is gone, that's just you and me,” Eric said entering the room.

He looked just like Romulus which was normal seeing that they shared the same body but his voice was different, a lot better, warmer, Isabelle noted.

“Eric?”

“Yes, just me, disappointed?”

“Not really,” Isabelle said straightening herself. It was the first time she talked to someone who was normally a host. Or maybe he was normally Eric and occasionally a host, she wasn't sure, it was weird. A bit like a them and us separation. Eric couldn't go anywhere else than his own body, just like her father. Isabelle wondered what that felt like.

Eric put a plate with fried rice in front of her.
