WeWriWar 385: Sun Kiss 7

Hello everybody!

Welcome to a new Sunday of writing with Weekend Writing Warrior and Snippet Sunday

You can find the snippet from the other participants in the blog hops in the Snippet Sunday facebook group and on the  Weekend Writing Warrior's blog.

But let's just get started where we left off last time:

But she was alone and she had to decide for herself what to do. She had tried to pair up with one or two of the other kids in the house to build healthy studying habits but it never worked out. She was always trying harder than they were, they wouldn't push her when she really needed a kick in the butt. There was always an excuse around the corner and they wouldn't listen to her when she pushed either. She was the only one like her and it was frustrating. It was also tiring to try and carry people with her when they didn't want to be carried. Every "I'll do it tomorrow" was a disappointing reminder that she had wasted a cycle, or maybe a day. She didn't like interacting with people. It was tiring. She didn't like the frequency of the break when studying with someone else or the changes of topic. She wanted everything now, she wanted to sit down at her desk and work on that one Latin text until she was absolutely satisfied with her understanding of it.

  5. Quite determined.... might I say, obsessive, with her passion for learning.

    1. Yes, I think she is obsessive about things. Likely jumping from one obsession to another.
