Welcome to Mystery Monday. This week, we continue with Murder at the Conference.
Let's get back where we left off with chapter 2 last week.
“Still I think you should try to convince Christa,” Seiji said. “It will be nicer to have someone to enjoy the sightseeing with you.”
“She can't leave her boyfriend for so long, even going to the conference is annoying her already,” I said.
“But you can leave me for so long, why she can't stay to have fun with you just for a week, it's not like she was moving away forever?”
“I would imagine her boyfriend don't want her away,” I said.
“I don't want you away either but I know what's best for you and enjoying China is, it's your chance and you don't know when if at all you will go back, I don't think anyone should pass on that,” Seiji said.
“That's my point exactly but according to Christa, that's selfish and I should be prioritizing my relationship if I want it to last longer than the previous one,” I said.
I stirred a little bit more furiously, Christa was getting on my nerves even when she wasn't in the room.
“She said that,” Seiji said.
