About Harajuku Kiss
At times, life can be so depressing. She is walking her usual recovery tour in Harajuku, finishing with a crepe, trying to forget that her boyfriend dumped her once again for the week-end... When the unthinkable happens... A boy stops in front of her in the street and kisses her, in the middle of the street, before running away.
Here is the snippet for this week
Three years ago, entering their company was such an opportunity. Newly married, he had obtained his PhD in bacteriology and chemical analysis few months earlier. A bright future awaited him. That’s what they said and what he believed. The dark spot in the picture, he regretted not being on speaking terms with his younger brother, but he hoped that with time their issues would resolve themselves.
Why they chose him for the job wasn’t his optimistic vision of the future, or his respect for human life, or even for the qualities the company seemed to be putting forward to inspire their media façade, but two reasons: first, the mental abilities and the type of personality to stay in his lab developing their products without asking more than technical and science oriented questions. They would take care of the ethics.
