Today, I'm opening a new Nendoroid: Sinon from Sword Art Online. The little problem is that I got her second hand and when she arrived she was really badly yellowed. (It wasn't mentioned in the product description or visible in the product pictures).
At first, I didn't even notice that she was yellowed because I hadn't opened her box for a while and I only realised the problem when I actually saw a picture of her online with a very white scarf. It turned out that every single piece of her with a skin or white color were yellow. The main problem was her face that was super yellow and dirty with grey fury spots on her cheeks, yuck!
I used some oxydoll diluted in water and sunlight to get her back in shape. It took about 4 days in that bath to get the result I have now. I think her body and maybe her hair might need a new bath but she looks almost perfect now. I'm really happy with the result.
