Welcome to Tuesday Travel. This week we are following Brownie on her journey as she is going toward the second element: Earth.
Witch Raising is a new series with Brownie, the heroine of Demon Soul as the main character. This series is part of the House at the Crossing Series and follows Demon Soul and Demon and Fairy but instead of being centered on the adventure of Sahel and his demon friends, it follows Brownie as she goes from being a normal girl to a bad ass witch. She has been practicing magick for a while now, saving people from difficult situations but the people at the house, including Sahel aren't happy with her new calling. Feeling that she doesn't have a choice and has to keep learning witchcraft, Brownie leaves to meet other witches.
He grabbed her chin with his hand and pulled her head up for her to look at him, she kept her eyes down so that her eyes never really met his.
“You will be mine very soon,” he said.
She didn't answer, she was shaking like a leaf. Her body was in fight or fly mode, ready to fly but she was like a deer taken by the light of a car in the middle of the road. Her brain couldn't register.
“Tomorrow daughter, tomorrow we will celebrate the wedding,” her father said.
He seemed happy.
Brownie was sewing when looked like her wedding gone. She stuck her finger with the needle an a drop of blood feel on the immaculate white fabric. It wasn't white any more nor immaculate but she didn't care. She didn't love the man her father was giving her too and she knew she would have to cook his meal and share his bed and do all the task he would ask of her.
