I hope you had a great week-end. Here is a new little part of Murder at the Conference. Murder at the Conference is a stand alone sequel to Harajuku Kiss.
We start right were we left off last week:
That I should prioritize my relationship even if said relationship obviously made me unhappy and if my controlling boyfriend tried to change me into what I was not. She would tell me how lucky I was to have a boyfriend when she didn't and that I didn't deserve him. Yes, that would have been the story if I hadn't stood for myself. But I wanted to help her, I just didn't know how. I wanted her to see that she deserved better, just like I deserved better when I told him he had dumped me one time too many and that the relationship was now over. But I didn't know what to say to her. Nothing I tried so far had worked and it only lead to conflict. Everything I said and no matter how I said it always brought conflict. Even when I tried to show her videos that empowered women. She told me it was just rubbish propaganda and that she could never act that way because she had manners and respected people a lot more than I did. Once again, there was this all monologue on why guys shouldn't be interested in me because I wasn't as hot as I thought I was and not really girlfriend material either.
