Welcome back to Wednesday Snippet. This week, we continue with Fairy World unedited just where we left off last week.
"Can trees do that?" Sahel asked.
"No, they can't," Azazel answered. That was the way animated object would think, not trees.
"They can't in Your world but here, the rules are different, at least they used to be," Kelpie said.
Sahel looked up to Apostos's face trying to look for an answer.
"Dad," the cry escaping Odeon made them all jump.
"I got that," Sahel said. He ran after the other demon and tackled him on the floor.
Odeon fell loudly yelling after his dad and trying to crawl away not even bothering to shake Sahel out of his back. Sahel slide himself up to the demon's face and stuck him on the cheek with the pine needles before getting up. Odeon looked at him surprised.
"What happened?"
"Welcome to the forest of nightmares," Sahel said.
Odeon looked around disoriented.
"Where is the snow?" He inhaled deeply trying to taking in the smell of the snow, the incredibly fresh smell of icy water but found nothing.
