WeWriWar 342: The House at the Crossing 48

Hello everybody and welcome for a new Sunday of writing with Weekend Writing Warrior and Snippet Sunday!

How are you doing?
We had a huge earthquake a few days ago but everything is fine.

Let's continue with  "The House at the Crossing" and it's a prequel to Demon Soul and the demon series. It's a bit of a mix of Fantasy and Science-fiction.

It follows one of the books more obscure character as she first comes into the House. It's supposed to explain why there are so many people is the house and sort of where they come from and at the same time be a first time adventure for the main character as she needs to adapt to her new role and the new version of who she is.

Let's start right at where we left off last week, can you see the changes in Margo's memories?

I put the crib on the floor and Malicia on the changing table. I'm glad the others aren't awake yet but I know that Hiroshi should wake up soon, he has a pretty regular schedule. Ryan has a tendency to sleep through meal time, even if his sister is crying but he would cry and wake her up in the middle of her nap. Mikala and Hiroshi were so much in sink that I could sleep the night. With Ryan and Malicia, that will not be happening.
“This place is good for kids to grow up in, they won't know unless you decide to show them,” Aunt Teresa says.
“With a vampire, really?” I ask.
“Viorel is harmless, at least in this house and to the guardian,” Aunt Teresa says.

  1. I don't think I'd want to raise my children with a vampire, either. :-)

  4. Such a wild house, complete with a vampire! It would certainly make for an adventurous home life.
