Amigurumi: Octopus

This week I won't have an azone doll post either as I don't have a new doll and I have been taking too many pullip pictures to be able to make something special with my azone family so instead here are some octopus amigurumi pictures and the patterns. I hope you'll enjoy and send me the pictures if you make your own.




Head and body
1) In an amigurumi ring. 6sc.
2) 2sc in each sc (12)
3) [inc. 2, 1sc]x6 (18)
4) [inc. 2, 2sc]x6 (24)
5) [inc. 2, 3sc]x6 (30)
6) [inc. 2, 4sc]x6 (36)
7) [inc. 2, 5sc]x6 (42)
8-17) 42sc. around 10 times (420)
18)[dec. 2, 5sc.]x6 (36) 
19-20) 36sc. twice around (72)
21)[dec. 2, 4sc.]x6 (30)
22-23) 30sc. twice around (60)
24)[dec. 2, 3sc.]x6 (24)
25) 24sc. around (24) 
Finish off 

Bottom of the body
1) In an amigurumi ring. 6sc.
2) 2sc in each sc (12)
3) [inc. 2, 1sc]x6 (18)
4) [inc. 2, 2sc]x6 (24)
Finish off

Eyes (Make 2)
1) In an amigurumi ring. 7sc. fasten around the animal eye.
2) 2sc in each sc (14)
Finish off
Tip: you can remove the animal eye to make the second row and put it back later.

Tentacle (Make 8: Octopus) 
1)Chain 35 in one color
Change color
2)Turn around, start in the second from the hook, 34sc.  
Finish off
Tip: The Tentacles should spiral by themselves, if not, crochet tighter some of the sc.

Sew the eyes (animal eye beads included to the body part.
Stuff up the body.
Place the tentacles tip in at the edge of the body and place the bottom part on top of them. 
Sew the bottom part to the body through the tentacles.
