I know I promised some outdoor pictures, but it was raining almost all weekend and I didn't want to get going in the tiny bit of time without rain. So instead here is a food picture. My boyfriend call that a mille-feuille nabe. With a Japanese accent mille-feuille really doesn't sound like mille-feuille to a french ear. Basically, it's boil cabbage and pork that you dip in some sauces before eating. It was delicious.
