WeWriWar 71 Demon and Fairy

Hello everyone!

Welcome to Week-end Writing Warrior and Snippet Sunday. Yesterday, I participated in 24 hours comics day and that was absolutely awesome and I obtained a side story of my Demon series in comic form. I still need to make the images all pretty looking for computer, but you can have a look here. (At least the cover is ready)

In the previous episodes: Seti let the chaos got out of him as the father of his sister's fiance threaten to break the engagement. Wild, he flies to the beach to see the only person near whom he can get rid of the Chaos without pain, the fairy Kallisto in the Human world below his. He can only observe her through a tidal pool. But this time, she is in danger. Trying to rescue her from a snake, Seti lands in the world below. However, as Kallisto tries to touch him, he flies away back to his hidden place on the beach and listen to Kallisto's conversation with her best friend Kelpie who once again proposes to her and is refused. Kallisto needs to choose between Kelpie or going back to the fairy world to marry prince Kordelius. As the night comes, Kallisto goes home and so does Seti and of course his parents are all weird... (Remember, Seti used his forbidden power and left without an explanation... ) Then Seti was mysteriously pushed in his room, in the dark and apparently turned blind. For the past few weeks, Seti is trying to control the Chaos who wants to take over his body. Now we are having some flash back to explain the relationship between Seti and the Chaos.

Here are my 8 sentences, the weirdness continues (He is Seti and It is the Chaos). And we start where we left off last week

He had brought a book, at least nobody would annoy him if he stayed quiet. He had taken the habit of going out in the garden at night to get rid of all the energy which was accumulated during the day as he couldn’t go play like the other children. Suddenly, the ball hit him on the head and a little boy about his age ran toward him to get it back. Seti stood up with the ball and faced the other boy who just stopped in front of him and looked at him for a minute before extending his hands to take the ball back.
Don’t touch it!” the boy’s mum arrived running toward them. “Don’t touch the ball. You don’t know what nasty things he had put in it.”

Answer to last week's comments:
Zelda, you are totally right, but there are a lot of people who didn't want him in this world in the first place.
Chip, sorry I managed to confuse you. Yes, you might want to think that the Chaos is another of Seti's personalities, but that's just a little more complicated than that.
Cindy, yes, that's exactly it. They discovered there is something wrong with him and they just ignored him instead of trying to find how to fix it.
Sue, yes, that explain a lot about Seti. Seti's personality is based on how people treated him and why they did it. I wanted to treat the Chaos as a contagious disease so that's how people see it. Through history, people with an illness that seemed to be dangerous have always been cast out from social interactions. Of course the Chaos is not contagious and not an illness but as people don't really know what it is they have a strong reaction to it.
Milly, why indeed? He is not different from all the other demons, but he hasn't met anyone like him yet. ;)
Thanks everyone for your comments, I love those.

  1. is she talking to Seti or the boy? Seti has already touched the ball, while the boy is the ball's owner? in any case, I'm intrigued to know what's wrong with the ball...

  8. Aww, poor Seti! Even when he's trying to conduct himself well, the world doesn't accept him. I loved that he took a book and went outside to read. Great snippet!
