China: Xi'an Taoist temple

At the end of the Muslim quarter, I found a Taoist temple. It was the first time for me to go into a Taoist temple and I have to say that I loved it. The temple was a lot different than the Tibetan temples I had visited so far and than the Buddhist temples in Japan. The main difference is the colors and the deity. The art makes them numerous. I thought that there were a lot of demons but my friend told me that they are here to scare away people and they are protective gods.
Unfortunately, my camera's battery died.
