Art Creator Expo! And Morris Gapachon Haul!

Last weekend was held in Seibu Shibuya the Art Creator Expo.
This Exposition gathered several artists creating characters. There was a lottery for particular goodies and a general sale.
I went there on the Sunday which was the second day of the event and a lot of the booths had their items already sold out. It was a great opportunity for people to interact with artists and to get some pictures.

Here is my video of the event:

At the event were present people like, just to name a few:
Hinatique, the creator of Morris the cat with antlers. You can check the video I made at her solo expo:

0313, the creator of Zero. You can check the video I made at her solo expo:

And a video of live painting:

Mames Chani, the creator of the cat jambutton.

Hinomoto, the creator of Denshitako.

A lot of those artists have characters in the VAG (Vinyl Artist Gacha). After touring the event, I went to the gachapon machines to get some of the latest releases on pre-sell. I especially wanted the Morris from the VAG series 20. They have 5 mini series for each VAG series and 3 of them for the VAG series 20 are of Hinatique's character, Morris. One of the mini series was already sold out but I managed to get some of the two others, including a complete Ghost Morris series. I also got my first Kinora.

Lutz Zuzu Delf Mir D'Artagnan Limited Doll Review (with video)

Today, I have for you a review of my Mir D'Artagnan bjd from Luts. I was supposed to make his review some times ago, just after the idoll event where I bought him but I decided I wanted to wait to have some clothes for him before doing the review. However, since I haven't been sewing as much as I intended too, the poor little cutie is still partially naked and the review way over due so I decide to compromise so here is the review.
I got this little cutie at the last idoll (you can check the first video here  and the second video here.)
I got him naked as someone already bought his outfit before I made my decision to take him home. He is a Mir D'artagnan limited version you can check him out of the luts website and he is a dragon. I think that he is super adorable.
He comes with magnetic horns and wings that you can move and remove as you please.
You can also check my Luts interview.

Here is the video

And here are some pictures

Doll Show 49 in Asakusa (with video)

Today was the Dolll Show 49. Once again they changed the location and put it in Asakusa instead of Ikebukuro. This is sort of nice for me since it's only about 30 minutes away from where I now live.
The doll show was pretty big since instead of the usual two floors, it was help on fourth floor, the last floor being for putting your own doll like a doll meeting and have some food. It was the first time they actually had ood present normally you would have to go out to eat something.
Strangely, there weren't many big company represented. Actually Groove and Cu-poche generally show up but they weren't around this time.
Azone had their usual announcement, they presented the new character azone 50cm, the new Alisa and Lycee Meow Meow a la mode which all have a sort of purplish color involved. Then they finally introduced Aoto and Yuta Otogi no Kuni which I have been waiting for for so long. They also have a new Snow White and a new Alice tea party doll in this series. I'm thinking that I might need to get them both so I'm not very sure. Then there is the new Adventure Steampunk collection doll, which are coming out in April and May. This is pretty exciting. I'll probably have some comparison pictures as they apparently made changes on their faces since the last announcement.
I went a bit over board with taking pictures with 428 in total so this video is pretty long. I'm giving my impression at the end if you want to skip parts.
Anyway guys, enjoy the pretty dolls!

AK-garden 1/12 doll show in Asakusa

Yesterday I went to AK-garden. Ak-garden used to be this tiny little doll show for 1/12 dolls a few years back and this time around it was really huge and on two floor. There were a lot of interesting things including a 120cm doll, I know that's crazy and definitely not 1/12.

Azone was presenting their Azzault lily line and also the new lil'fairy Nelly for January. I got myself a  lil'fairy dress and a miniature centaurs that I need to build.
I also got a clear file from Azone for no reason what so ever, these guys are so cool.

Anyway, enjoy this video, tons of pictures.

Doll Review: Groove's Sasha Kiki ver. (with video)

Once upon a time, I wanted a cat doll and that cat doll being unavailable in Japan, I decided to make my own. However, the time passed and I still wanted the original cat doll. Then, one day, the cat showed up on amazon and a store from america agreed to send Sasha Kiki to Japan. Yeah!
That's how I got this doll.
It's made by groove, like pullip and it's really amazing. I like the realistic eyes and the aristocratic outfit.
I still want to have the Baron Humbert von Gikkigen from the whisper of heart and the cat returns, I might get another cat some days to make him.

The background pictures in this videos are from my trip to Versailles. I went there on a muddy and cloudy day so they are a bit gray. You can find more info about the trip in the travel section.
