In the previous episodes: Seti let the chaos got out of him as the father of his sister's fiance threaten to break the engagement. Wild, he flies to the beach to see the only person near whom he can get rid of the Chaos without pain, the fairy Kallisto in the Human world below his. He can only observe her through a tidal pool. But this time, she is in danger. Trying to rescue her from a snake, Seti lands in the world below. However, as Kallisto tries to touch him, he flies away back to his hidden place on the beach and listen to Kallisto's conversation with her best friend Kelpie who once again proposes to her and is refused. Kallisto needs to choose between Kelpie or going back to the fairy world to marry prince Kordelius. As the night comes, Kallisto goes home and so does Seti and of course his parents are all weird... (Remember, Seti used his forbidden power and left without an explanation... ) Then Seti was mysteriously pushed in his room, in the dark and apparently turned blind. For the past few weeks, Seti is trying to control the Chaos who wants to take over his body. We had some flash back to explain the relationship between Seti and the Chaos. Now Seti seems to be in control again but for how long?

Here are my 8 sentences, we start where we left off last week. Now that the Chaos has calmed down, Seti is looking for the way out.

Seti felt the sweat run along his temple, it was becoming really hot. The wall was mostly made of wood. The carbon composing it was burning easily in the air’s oxygen.
“I love chemistry. It’s funny to know that what I’m apparently magically doing is really possible,” Seti thought smiling.
The size of the hole in the wall was slowly increasing. The sunlight was coming from the corridor’s window.
“Could I do something more creative? This fire without flam is really killing me,” Seti thought, but the headache struck again blurring his vision.

Answer to last week's comments

Seti thinks he can control it but as soon as the Chaos is close by, he gets a headache, the Chaos has a plan on his own.
If you remember, the first time Seti used the Chaos in front of people to make a crazy sculpture out of his sister's soon to be father-in-law's desk, he had a huge headache afterward. He can call the Chaos and use it for a limited time, but there is no saying what the Chaos has in mind, you know, it's chaotic at best.
Personally, I would have chosen another power to get out, but Seti tends to be too confident in his chaos, because the chaos is what makes him so special (and at him locked in the room to begin with.) Seti is not always that smart, but hush, don't tell him I said that. ;)

  2. This: “I love chemistry. It’s funny to know that what I’m apparently magically doing is really possible,” reminded me of the line "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic."

I am curious to see what happens/where he goes/what he does when he does get out.

  7. A conundrum...to have that power, but to have headaches when he uses it. Good, descriptive writing, Linda :-)
