Demon and Fairy WeWriWar 31

Hello everyone, welcome to Week-end Writing Warrior and Snippet Sunday.
This month I'm participating to NaNoFiMo and the draft of my new WIP Blue Angel is available here, even if I'm not writing much.
At the moment I'm spending a lot of time under the sea which might help me get my Poseidon character and mermaids right, who knows what I'm going to discover down there.

In the previous episodes: Seti was in pain and flying to see Kallisto who is the only person who can help him get ride of it. He remembered how he had met her the first time but unfortunately this time it was late at night and she was nowhere to be seen. Seti couldn't spend the night on the Beach and decided to fly home not noticing that another demon entered her house. We followed Seti and discovered his chaotic bedroom before meeting his family for breakfast. They were arguing about Seti's sister's arranged wedding being canceled by the other family and Samira was crying. Their father said that Seti would just have to apologize. and we learn what Seti thinks about the situation. Seti met the twin's father and gave him an unexpected apology demon style which scared everyone around except Taram who had been spying at the scene from the stairs with his twin brother Torin. After the confrontation, as always when he has a headache, Seti flew to the beach and fell asleep near the tidal pool. When Seti waked, he saw Kallisto facing a snake he managed to get through the barrier and stop it from attacking her, at the moment he is about to kill the snake, Kallisto tells him to stop and had him let the snake on the other side of the barrier. Then Seti had an unexpected reaction but Kallisto didn't going to let him go that easily. Kallisto seems to have a very strange combination of people taking care of the security of the house, which scares Seti a little bit while Kallisto seems to consider that he is her best protection. He decided to fly away then notice the arrival of Kelpie.

Here are my 8 sentence with creative punctuation to fit the 8 sentences limit:

She rocked on the swing without answering. Kelpie looked up again wondering what could be hiding in the tree, maybe some kind of fairies he couldn’t see in this world, but he was almost sure it was something more serious, and he started to play nervously with the grass.
“So tell me what’s happening in the Fairy World,” she said to change topic.
She didn’t really like to see him look at the sky where her white knight was coming from, he had disappeared so suddenly that she was sure he was still nearby looking at her to make sure she was alright. The thought made her feel safe, but she didn’t want Kelpie to know anything, she knew how he would react with his sick jealousy; he would try to scare her white knight away.
“Well, they are still talking about your wedding with prince Kordelius. Did I ever tell you how ugly he looks?” Kelpie started.

  1. A wedding? Uh-oh! This doesn't seem like it's going to bode well for poor Seti's heart.

  9. Kelpie definitely feels the other presence, the knight. His flippancy about the potential groom's looks sounds like he is trying to rile her. Intriguing.
