Demon and Fairy WeWriWar 19

Hello Warriors and dear readers, welcome to another Week-end Writing Warrior blog post.
Thank you for all the comments last week, they made me very happy.

Now let's go to this week snippet, more on Demon and Fairy.

In the previous episodes: Seti was in pain and flying to see Kallisto who is the only person who can help him get ride of it. He remembered how he had met her the first time but unfortunately this time it was late at night and she was nowhere to be seen. Seti couldn't spend the night on the Beach and decided to fly home not noticing that another demon entered her house. We followed Seti and discovered his chaotic bedroom before meeting his family for breakfast. They were arguing about Seti's sister's arranged wedding being canceled by the other family and Samira was crying. Their father said that Seti would just have to apologize. and we learn what Seti thinks about the situation. Seti met the twin's father and gave him an unexpected apology demon style which scared everyone around except Taram who had been spying at the scene from the stairs with his twin brother Torin. After the confrontation, as always when he has a headache, Seti flew to the beach and fell asleep near the tidal pool. When Seti waked, he saw Kallisto facing a snake he managed to get through the barrier and stop it from attacking her, at the moment he is about to kill the snake, Kallisto tells him to stop and had him let the snake on the other side of the barrier. Then Seti had an unexpected reaction but Kallisto didn't going to let him go that easily. Kallisto seems to have a very strange combination of people taking care of the security of the house.

Here are my 8 sentences.

“A vampire,” Seti repeated, he didn’t want to laugh. “It’s…”
“Dangerous?” she finished
“Yes,” he answered a bit worried for her safety if she was leaving with a vampire. What if he got thirsty and couldn’t control himself and decided to drink her blood during the night and… the thought gave him a shiver.
“Well, I’ll be alright as I have a white knight to take care of me now,” she said winking at him.
“You mean the angel?” Seti asked, he was wondering who was the stronger between the vampire and the angel, he wasn’t too sure.

I hope you enjoyed today's excerpt and see you next week for more of Seti's adventures.

  1. The angel is stronger :-) But the vampire can be such fun to write until the angel puts him in his place ;-) Nice 8, Linda! I like Seti's doubt. It shows a vulnerability. :-)

  2. I should hope she has a white knight to take care of her if she's leaving with vampires! Great eight, Linda!

  3. Poor Seti, he doesn't understand he's her knight : )

  4. Angel vs vampire is going to be one heck of a smackdown.

  5. I love Seti, he is a bit endearingly clueless at times. Will be interesting to see what happens next!

  6. Poor confused kid... If I didn't feel so bad for him I'd laugh...

  7. Good question. Angel vs Vampire. I love Seti's concern for her, it comes across very clearly. Nice snippet.

  8. Interesting setup. Hope he knows what he's doing.

  9. interesting conversation between the two

  10. Poor, poor Seti, you're her knight. :)
    Nice 8.

  11. Not that a battle between good vs evil via Angel and vampire wouldn't be something to worry about, but Poor Seti is clueless isn't he? Wonder how long it's going to take him to catch on to what she meant. Nice 8 Linda.

  12. That's a valid concern! Nice 8! :)
