En français
千と千尋の神隠し, (Spirited away) is a animation movie by 宮崎 駿 (Hayao Miyazaki) (2001).
荻野 千尋 (Chihiro) is annoyed because she is moving home and has to go to school away from her friends.
As she is going to her new home with her parents, her father takes the wrong road and they end up near a tunnel leading to an old theme park.
As her parents start eating the food in the park, they get
transform into pigs and Chihiro is locked in a world of spirit.
With the help of ハク (Haku), the river spirit, she will try to save her parents and to go back in her own world.

This animation is one of the best Miyazaki.
The drawings and musics are absolutely gorgeous. The characters are really funny and moving.
The witch 湯婆婆 (Yubaba) is the nasty character in the story but she looks really hilarious, with her big head and you can't help to like her.
The old 釜爺 (Kamajii) is also a curious character who seems never going out of the boiler room which he share with an army of soot ball.

  2. Yeah, my favorite scene in that movie is the "umbrella" one, when they first met.
